You Better Do Your Best, Attorney

"What?! No! You can't take away my son from me!"

"But Ms. Park—."

"No!" Rosie said firmly, this time Liam was done talking to his wife and he saw the guy talking with Rosie.

"What's going on?" Liam asked confusedly, looking back and forth to Rosie and to the attorney.

"Apparently, they want to take the kid." Seul-ki answered.

"Why would you want to take her son?" Liam asked again and glanced at Jerry's couple behind.

"As one of the members in a royal family, you should know the situation. His Majesty impregnated his cousin's wife and—."

"And so? There's still no reason for you to take the kid."

"Mr. Manoban, we have to cover up the situation before it blows up and ruin His Majesty's image."

"The answer is still a no. If you want to take Akiro, then wait for Jerry's decision." Liam said, firmly refusing to agree with the lawyer though he knows why they were trying to convince Rosie to hide the kid.

"But he's in a coma and while His Majesty is still unconscious, we need to clear everything so he won't have any problems to face when he wakes up." The lawyer explained. Rosie and Seul-ki could understand the attorney's point but there's no way in Hell that Rosie would give away her son.

"Look, no one knows that Akiro is his son, aside from his friends, of course, but we are not going to tell anyone about it because we understand the situation." Liam said and he looked at the couple behind once again, as if he wanted them to listen to whatever he was going to say. "And just like what I've said, we have to wait for Jerry to wake up and he will decide whether to take the kid or not."

"I'm sorry, we can't do that since the kid is still a Kim, we have the right to decide without waiting for His Majesty's permission." The lawyer stood on his ground as well and he bowed to Liam to end their conversation and walked back to Jerry's parents.

"I'm not going to give them my son." Rosie said as she turned to face Liam. There was fear in her eyes that even if she didn't want them to see it, but her eyes were screaming it out.

"Don't worry, I'm with you on this. We're not going to let them take away your son." Liam assured the woman and pulled her closer, hugging her tightly to add more reassurance that Liam will protect them no matter what.

"Your Dad is a lawyer too, right? We can ask him to help you." Seul-ki suggested.

Rosie shook her head after she pulled away from Liam. "I can't let them know about this situation."

"Why?" Seul-ki and Liam asked.

"They don't know that Akiro is Jerry's son."

"Then tell them, I'm sure they would understand you because they love you."

"What if they're not? I will lose my family."

"They won't, I promise. Just call your dad and ask for some help about the process on how to prevent the Kim Group from taking Akiro from you." Seul-ki insisted, smiling at Rosie warmly.

"Okay then, I'll try. But if they got mad then I'm not going to ask for their help anymore." Rosie let out a shaky breath and she started calling her sister's number.

"Rosie! Oh my God, we heard the news! Are you okay?!" Alice said as soon as she answered Rosie's call.

"Yes, I'm fine. Is Dad with you?" Rosie bite her nails anxiously while looking down to his son.

"Yes, we're actually heading to the airport. Mom bought a ticket for us to go there just to make sure that you're fine. We were so worried after we saw the news, how's Jerry? How come he was on the scene? Isn't he in New Zealand?"

"I'll explain everything once you get here, please tell our parents not to worry too much, I'm fine, Akiro's fine and Jerry.." Rosie trailed off as she gulped thickly to choke back her tears. "He's in a coma."

"Oh God.." Alice gasped on the other line. "Please never leave Liam's side okay? We'll be there soon, I have to go. We need to board the plane."

"Okay, please take care. I love you."

"I love you too, Rosie. So much and whatever you're going through, we are here okay? Bye princess." Alice bid before hanging up.

"They'll be here tomorrow." Rosie said after the call ended.

"Good, now go home first, I'll stay here." Liam said.

"But how about Jerry?" Seul-ki asked.

"He's in a coma, so don't worry about the little bean. He was just sleeping." Liam joked, trying to ease the atmosphere. Then he bent over to level the kid. "Hey, you're going home, don't leave mom's side okay?"

"Are we going to leave my dad here?" Akiro asked innocently.

"Yes, he needs to rest first so you have to go home and rest too. Then you can go back here tomorrow to see him."

Akiro looked at the door and pouted his lips before looking back to Liam. "Okay, please tell Daddy that I'm going back here tomorrow."

"I will buddy, now go home and don't leave mommy." Liam kissed the kid's head and ruffled his hair before standing straight and kissed Rosie's head. "I'll just give you a call."

"Okay then." Seul-ki hugged Liam and tapped his head before he picked up Akiro and held Rosie's hand then made their way out, walking passed to Jerry's parents and the lawyer who's looking at Akiro.

Liam stood on the corner while looking at the operating room, and he could see from the corner of his eyes that Jerry's parents and the lawyer continued their conversation while looking at him, until Mr. Kim and the lawyer walked towards him. He readied himself and stood straight but not looking at the two.

"Mr. Manoban." The lawyer called. Liam turned his head at him and looked at him with bored eyes.

"What?"

"I know that Ms. Park is your friend, but I think you have to stay out of this business."

"What if I don't want to? I love sticking my nose, especially if it's about my best friend."

"Then we have no choice but to let your clan know about this." The lawyer said to threaten the heir of the Manoban Group.

"That's great then, tell them that I want to protect Rosie from your people." Liam said while looking at Mr. Kim. "Rosie ain't just someone, she's my best friend and if you insist on taking away her kid, then let's meet in court and let the world know that Akiro is Jerry's son."

"Please, let's not go that far. We are trying to help His Majesty and—."

"If you want to help him, then shut the f**k up and leave the kid alone!" Liam scowled at the lawyer.

"I feel sorry for your clan if they ever pass you the crown. You are such an embarrassment of your family." Mr. Kim spat and he looked at Liam disgustingly. "What would I expect though? You were raised with a man that does not belong to the Royal family—."

"Don't you f*****g dare to insult my Dad. He may not be my real father, but he was a nice man and he's a good father to me that you never did to your own son!"

"What did you say?!"

"I'm saying that you should've done your job as a father to Jerry!"

"How dare you—!"

"Henry, no!" Mrs. Kim yelled to stop her husband from hitting Liam but he already did it as Mr. Kim slapped Liam. Even the lawyer was shocked and couldn't react as well because he knows that hurting Liam is a big trouble.

There are only a few Royal families that are well known in the whole world, and Liam's family is one of them. Therefore, hurting their price is a huge mistake of Mr. Kim.

Liam chuckled dryly, wiping the blood from the corner of his lips caused by Mr. Kim's ring on his finger. He looked at Jerry's Dad, glaring at him dangerously then shifted his gaze to the lawyer and Liam smirked.

"You better do your best, attorney." Liam said as he glanced at Mr. Kim before walking away.

"Who the hell does he think he is?!" Mr. Kim shouted loudly as he wanted Liam to hear him clearly.

"Sir, you shouldn't do that to him. You clearly know who Liam Manoban is, right?" The attorney said worriedly.

"I don't give a f**k if he's a Manoban! He disrespect me—."

"Because you disrespect the man who raised him! And isn't he right about you?! You never became a father to your own son, how dare you to even insult a guy that raised a kid that's not even his whereon you can't do it to your own son!" Mrs. Kim yelled. "You just caused another problem hitting the Manoban's Prince! Are you really that stupid?!"

Mr. Kim got more mad but everything his wife said is true. Jerry grew up with his grandfather because he neglected to be a father to his own son. He was so focused on his company that he didn't even notice that Jerry grew up already and graduated in college. He just noticed his son when he asked Jerry to handle their company but Jerry refused and decided to teach in SNU.

The former chairman, who is Jerry's grandfather, allows his grandson to do whatever he wants with one condition, that after 10 years, Jerry needs to take over his grandfather's position as the chairman of the Kim Group of companies.

"If Papa finds out about what you did to Liam, you should better find a great lawyer because he will never betray Liam's grandmother for the stupidity of his son!"

Mr. Kim couldn't find his voice and felt a sudden fear crept up into his body. He turned at the lawyer who immediately looked away.

"You should've let me handle it instead of provoking young master Liam." The lawyer sighed devastatingly. "Now they will protect Ms. Park and we will have more difficulty to take the young master from his mother."
