The jail cell was smaller than Jayvee's walk-in closet back home. It didn't have walls like he had been expecting. He was not alone in his cell, there were three others sitting in every corner of the room. Two bunked beds and another small four corner wall that half his size used a partition of the bathroom.
It's not a cell, it is hell for him. His cell roommate has been staring at him since the moment he stepped inside. Even other clad on the other cells.
"Aren't you a singer?" One bald man with a huge tattoo on his neck and his shoulder approached him. "What's your case? Drugs? Harassment because you think you're a God so you could harass your fans? Violence? What?" He bombarded but Jayvee remained silent and didn't even bother to look up.
"He was talking to you, barbie boy." Another inmate kicked the bunked bed that shook Jayvee's body.
"Hey, don't scare the kid!" The on duty guard called out when he saw from his table the crooks trying to harass their new inmate.
"What's his case?" The last clad asked.
"His case is still ongoing. He was physically abusing his wife and son."
"Wow, so he's crap?" The bald guy spat as he sat down on the bunked bed across from Jayvee. "How the hell on earth is he still alive?"
That moment, Jayvee darted up his gaze to glare at the bald guy. "If I were you, I wouldn't talk s**t about me because once I get out of here, I'll come back for your neck."
The bald guy suddenly burst out laughing along with the other inmates. "You really think that after you physically abuse a woman and a kid, you still have a chance to get out of here?"
"You don't know who I am." Jayvee smirked cockily.
"Yeah, I know you." The bald guy slowly stand on his feet and he turned to the two other inmates and nodded his head. They moved quickly to block the on duty guard's view of Jayvee. "You are one of the crooks who's pretending to be tough but the only people who can hit is a woman and a child." He grabbed Jayvee's head and threw a solid punch on the latter's face and started beating him mercilessly.
The guard just shook his head even if he could hear Jayvee crying for help. "He's a Kim, better not leave any bruises on him." He said which made the bald guy stop for a second and laughed again then continued beating Jayvee.

"You're going out?" Hayley asked when he met Rosie in their front door.
"Yeah."
"Where to?"
"To my old apartment, I just needed to get some important files that I left there."
"Do you want me to drive you?"
"No thanks, I got this. I have two bodyguards with me." Rosie smiled and left a kiss on Liam's cheek and waved her hand before proceeding to the car outside the gate and there was one driver and one bodyguard waiting for her. "I left Akiro, is it okay?"
"No problem, give me a call when you get there." Liam waved back and continued his way inside his house when Rosie got in the car and drove away.
"To the police station, please." Rosie said to the driver. "And please don't tell anyone about this."
"Ma'am, it's prohibited to visit Young Master Jayvee." The bodyguard politely refused to follow Rosie's request.
"Please, I need to see him. Just give me 10 minutes."
The driver and the bodyguard exchange glances before they both nod their heads and Rosie was so glad that they let her see Jayvee.
The car stopped in front of Dongbu Detention center. With a baseball cap that was hidden on her bag, and dark shades, Rosie made her way inside and told the front desk that she's going to visit Jayvee Kim.
She was told to wait in the visiting room while they were picking up the inmate. She sat behind the glass wall, a partition between the inmate and the visitor.
Jayvee entered after five minutes, he was confused at first because he was expecting his mom but turns out it's not. Rosie removed the baseball cap and her shades after Jayvee sat in front of her.
Jayvee's face darkened and he glowered at his wife. "What are you doing here?" He growled low on his throat.
"What happened to you?" Rosie asked back when she saw the purple bruise mark under his left eye that could barely open. "Had you gone in a fight?"
"It's none of your f*****g business." Jayvee scowled. And even if he would talk to her like that, Rosie was still worried for him so she decided to ignore all of it.
"You should stay away from any fight, Jayvee."
"Then you shouldn't have filed a lawsuit and thrown me in here!"
"If your brother hadn't kidnapped my son, we wouldn't have come to this." Rosie fired back. She was trying to contain her anger every time she'll remember what Jared did to her son and the reason why Jerry is in a coma.
"It was my brother! Then why am I the one in here?!"
"Why would Jared kidnap my son if you didn't ask him to do it? Of course you want to get back to me and to Jerry by kidnapping our son and you asked your brother to do that!"
"You have no proof!"
"Yes I have. We have and your own family has all the evidence." Rosie scoffed as she leaned back to her chair and crossed her arms. "You know what? I didn't come here to talk about this."
"Then why are you here? To mock me? To shove in my face that I deserve to be here?!" Jayvee said, he was itching to hit his wife but he couldn't do it because of the glass in between them.
"It's about our divorce."
Jayvee froze and immediately shut up after he heard. "W-what?"
"Your family wants us to divorce and you have no other choice but to sign it or you'll rot in here."
"No way they would—."
"Yes they did, your grandfather was the one who told me about the divorce."
"H-he can't do that to me. H-how about my son? We have a son, Rosie! You can't leave me!" Jayvee sounded begging but Rosie is not a fool to fall in that. She had enough and she learned a lot about Jayvee and Jared. To how they are desperate to bring Jerry down, to ruin his life and everything.
Even that time when she left for London after Jerry ditched her at their wedding, Jayvee flew to follow her and did everything he could to get her and hide his identity so when Jerry asked for his help, he pretended to help but no. He was so happy that Jerry was miserable that time.
"Akiro is not your son, remember?"
"Because you f*****g cheated on me!" Jayvee slammed the glass as he stood up and the guards had to restrained him down. "No, please Rosie, don't leave me. I promise, I will be a good husband and a father to our son, just please don't—."
"Sign the paper, that's all I need." Rosie stood up as well. "And once Jerry wakes up, we're going to get married."
With those last lines, Jayvee loses it. He pushed the guards with his shoulder and ran back to the glass, he shoved the table on the side and started banging the glass while screaming like a mad person.
"Rosie!" He shouted the woman's name but Rosie didn't look back as she made her way out of the visiting room.
The bodyguard led her out of the correctional facility and they left the place. They still drove to Rosie's old apartment to take some stuff so Liam wouldn't be suspicious of her.
"I'm here." Rosie said as soon as Liam answered her call.
"Good. Anyway, Seul-ki called earlier and said that Jerry's MRI is clear and there's no hemorrhage at all."
"Hmm." Rosie hums while rummaging through the drawers to find Akiro's birth certificate.
"And.." Liam paused and let out a breath first before adding. "He's awake." Rosie froze, staring at the paper where Jerry's name was under the father's name on Akiro's birth certificate. "Rosie, are you there?"
"Y-yes." She stuttered as she was taken aback for a few seconds. She stands up and immediately leaves the apartment. "Let's go to the hospital." She told the driver.
The driver quickly obliged and they drove to the hospital. After an hour, they arrived and there were lot of bodyguards outside. She was told that the former chairman is in Jerry's room along with his mom.
Before she could get inside, a car arrived and the couple Manoban got out. Then the three of them proceeded inside. As soon as they got to the floor where Jerry's room was designated, Seul-ki met them halfway with a worried face.
"Where is he?" Rosie asked.
"He's inside with his mom and grandfather." Seul-ki replied. Though Liam and Hayley could notice the worry on the older guy's face, they didn't have the time to ask him as they ran inside the room.
And there was Jerry, sitting in the middle of the bed, the old man on the left in his wheelchair while Mrs. Kim on his right. Jerry's gaze shifted to the three and he furrowed his eyebrows but when he saw Hayley, he smiled widely.
"My rabbit!" Jerry exclaimed happily to see his best friend and that made Hayley confused because as far as she could remember, Jerry stopped calling her rabbit since college days and it's really surprising to hear it now from him.
"Dumpling cheeks." Hayley greeted him back. "How are you?"
"I'm fine, though I don't know why I am here." Jerry replied and shrugged his shoulders. His eyes shifted to Liam first and a teasing smile crept up on his lips. "Is he your boyfriend?"
They all gasped except for Jiyong and Mrs. Kim as the doctor already told them about Jerry's condition when he woke up and didn't recognize Seul-ki.
