{Ashlyn’s POV}
Last night I learned two things, one the mate bond is no joke, and two I have a step mother and step sister. I didn’t even know what to do with this information, do I ask my dad about them? Would they even want to meet me? I sat awake in Levi’s arms most of the night, tossing and turning not really sure what to do, or how to bring this up to my dad. Before I could even finish my train wreck through pattern there was a knock on the door, stirring Levi out of his deep sleep.
“Who’s there?” I called out.
“It’s me, Laura!” She yelled back through the door. “Are you okay?” She asked.
I shoved Levi slightly then pointed to all of the things barricading the door. “Could you move that so she can come in?” I asked quietly.
“Yeah.” He answered groggily before getting up out
