DELAY

It was a beautiful bright sunny day, Asamoah had just arrived with the package old soldier sent over months ago. There was a hold up putting a halt on the process, causing a long regretful delay of the arrival of the shipment.

Instead of an earlier shipment, it became a late delivery to the annoyance of old soldier. His plan to surprise her with his shopping prowess was dashed.

All the same Jennifer was never any glad the package had finally arrived. Initially, she was not all that enthused about the shopping her man did, after all she could afford the exact same things and more where she was; given that they were available.

Bobby takes a check then puts the gates in open mode with a warm facial at the sight of Asamoah in the monitors. It wasn't a rare sight to see a military man in uniform at the gates; all thanks to old soldier but for Asamoah's presence? it was a rare sight. He seldom visited there, even after Mansa his woman moved in with Jennifer due to her sickness; living by his resolution, although he was a familiar face. It was always a pleasure having the men in the distinguished uniform pass through. He was on errand to deliver the package old soldier had sent in eventually.

"Welcome Sir!" Sounded bobby who was already close to Asamoah's car, with enthusiasm escorted with an energetic salut in respect to Asamoah's professional status, as a man serving his country to his amusement. Asamoah packed at a suitable spot in the compound, alighted and made his way towards Bobby.

Military men were accorded a great deal of respect wherever they went in the country due to their discipline, no nonsense and do before complain behavior.
