CHAPTER FOUR
Larry Hartford strode out of the Tweed New Haven airport, heading for the pick-up zone where the courtesy driver had just pulled up with his shiny black Mercedes.
He was on the phone with a client, and didn’t miss a beat of the conversation as the driver scrambled out, nodding respectfully at Larry as he climbed in.
“Absolutely. We’ll sign the franchise territory deal later today and I’ll get Garth to make those changes to the contract.” Larry quickly tipped the man a fifty and then closed the door. A moment later, his phone connected up with the car’s Bluetooth and the client’s voice filled the sumptuous, leather-lined space.
“If the changes are made, it’s all good.”
“Excellent. We’re glad to have you on board with Choice Coffees.”
