"Look." I looked at where Trevor was pointing, my heart dropped, it was Reece making out with some girl. I told him I liked him not too long ago, he still doesn't care.
"And?" I asked, looking up at Trevor. I should be used to it, since that night at the club Reece has been making out with any girl he can. But hey, on the plus side I'm clear from the chest infection. I have asthma so I got chest infections quite regularly.
"I know you like him River," Trevor said. It was lunch, we were currently sitting under a tree nearest to the college. I had a full day today, so did Trevor and Reece.
"So what?" I took a bite from my apple. "He doesn't like me, theirs nothing I can do."
"He does River, he's just a funny way of showing it." I laughed at this. He does not like me.
"Look Trev, if he likes me, why is he over with her?" I asked while taking another bite from my apple. It's been about 2 weeks since the incident at the night club. The guys and I have become incredibly close, their like brothers to me now, bar Reece: he's just a stupid crush I need to get over.
"I don't know River, I really don't." I sighed and rested my head on his shoulder, this was going to be a long day.

"Ms. Wild, what are you doing?" Cian and Tucker kept throwing notes to me, and of course I got the blame.
"Nothing Sir." I smiled apologetically at him, he nodded in reply.
I turned around and stuck my tongue out at the guys. Yeah that's right, I'm River the mature student. Just call me 'Mature River' because I'm so-."
"Ms. Wild can you pay attention please. What is wrong with you today?" My cheeks flushed pink as I just looked down.
"She didn't get her bit last night sir, if you know what I mean?" I looked back, and caught Reece winking at the teacher. No Reece no.
"I beg your pardon Mr. Collins." Reece just smirked.
"You see she came home with this guy an-." I had to stop him.
"And he was Reece. You see sir, I thought me and Reece only went out as friends. But he obviously had other ideas. He was embarrassed like any lad would after getting turned down. Don't mind him." I watched as Reece's smirk fell, good. The class erupted into giggles and laughter, as Reece turned crimson.
"Class settle down, remember this is college, not high school anymore." He waved his hands up and down. "Anyway to continue on with the lesson. I hope ye revised the psychology last night?" And like that, the class dragged on and on.
"Ms. Wild and Mr. Collins, please come here for minute." The class was over and everyone was leaving.
"Yes Sir?" I asked smiling.
"I won't tolerate that behavior in my class, okay?" He said.
"It was her fault, you saw her purposely embarrass me, that's no-."
"Enough! I may not be able to give ye detention, but another episode like that, I've loads of files to be shredded." I nodded my head, so did Reece, and we left.
"I can not believe you did that to me." He said laughing. "Impressive Wild."
"You deserve it." I laughed, pushing his arm gently.
"I'm sorry for not really talking to you the past two weeks, I've been busy." That's a lie.
"Having s*x?" I ask, raising my eyebrows.
"You know how it is." He winked, while smirking. I HAVE A MASSIVE CRUSH ON YOU, I DONT WANT TO KNOW IF YOURE HAVING s*x.
"Your disgusting." I laughed scrunching my nose up, hiding the clear jealousy.
"But you love it," He said.
"You only wish." I smiled.

"Where are you taking me guys?" They had a blindfold over my eyes, guiding me. They've walked me into about ten poles by now, and four trees. "If yer going to kidnap me, just remember I have pepper spray." I said nonchalantly. Yeah bitches, don't mess with me, River the pepper spray queen. Screw-.
"Tip number 1 River, don't let the person know you've pepper spray," Trevor laughed. Yeah I suppose that was a bit stupid.
"Guys please just tell me." I whined again, maybe if I keep whining they'll get so annoyed they'll stop.
"Shut up River, you're the hardest girl to surprise," Reece said. His hands over my eyes, he was scared incase I could see through the blindfold.
"Guuuuuuuys," I whined again. I was scared they were going to walk me into something else, it's actually very sore.
"We're here." Reece took his hands from my eyes and took off the blindfold. I jumped in excitement, fun fair, aaaahhhh.
"Oh my god! You guys are the best." I gave each of them a hug, including Reece.
"We know," Cian said.
"We figured since you've been having a bad time lately, why not cheer you up?" Tucker said, putting an arm around my shoulder.
"You guys are the sweetest." I said. I couldn't wait to go up onto the big massive rides. That's right I'm River, River the Daredevil.
"Come on guys!" I ran straight for the huge ride that turns upside down. I was so excited.
After a few more rides the guys were feeling a bit wheezy, but I wanted to go on more.
"Hey gorgeous." A hand snaked around my waist. Who was this?
"Get off her pal." Reece came in, grabbing me.
"Sorry dude, didn't know she was with you." He left as quick as he came over.
"Thanks Reece, I just want a drama free night, just once." I gave him a kiss on the cheek, then went back over to the rest of guys who were sitting around a picnic table.
"Who was the guy?" Trevor asked the minute I sat down.
"I don't even know myself." I grabbed a few chips from each of the lads, I was starving.
"Can we go on the water rides?" I asked jumping up and down in my seat like a 4 year old.
"No, you'll get sick again." Reece said sitting down next to me.
"I won't Reece." He knows I get chest infections easily.
"You will River." He said.
"I promise I won't." I pouted.
"Fine, but if you get sick, don't come to me." He said shrugging.
"I wasn't planning on it." I grabbed his arm, and motioned for the others to follow, which they did.
It's safe to say, we got absolutely saturated, but it was brilliant. I had a blast, the night was great, the rides were great and so were the guys. They were amazing friends to have.
"Thanks guys, I really mean it, thank you so much." I gave each of them a hug.
"No problem River." Trevor ruffled my hair.
I couldn't wait to get home and get dry though, I was frozen. It's coming into winter in Wisconsin, which means snow will be here in no time.
"Come on, we go," Reece said. I said goodbye to everyone before Reece and I started our walk back.
Starting to realise how much I like him. But I can't let myself fall for him, he was a player, and this isn't a cliché where he bad boy falls for the nerd. I needed to stop watching so many movies.
"Thanks Reece, I really mean it, thank you." I smiled as we continued walking.
"It's fine River, you deserved a nice night out for once." He laughed.
"Are you going out tonight?" I asked casually. Deep down I was hoping he wasn't. If he was it meant he was definitely going to have s*x with someone, I didn't want that.
"Nah, I think I'll stay in tonight." Yes!
"We should watch a movie!" I exclaimed.
"After you get dry, we can't have you dying sick again." He said while smiling.
"Reece?"
"Mmm?"
"Do you think me and Kiera will ever be friends again?" I asked, looking down.
"It's 'Kiera and I' River, god did Mrs. Kelly teach you anything in English." He said this so dramatic I couldn't help but burst out laughing. Mrs. Kelly was our English teacher in high school, she was a crap teacher.
"Seriously Reece?" I couldn't be serious though, his dramaticness was to funny. As you can see with my made up words just shows how bad of a teacher she was.
"Ye will River, she has an awful lot of making up to do as well though," he shrugged. He was right if I'm honest, yeah I lied, but the amount of crap she has put me through, kind of counteracts it.
"You're right." I smiled up at him before entering the apartment. That walk seemed shorter than the way there.
"So what movie?" He asked.
"How about Sinister?" I said spookily.
"First person to jump has to the clean the dishes tomorrow?" He suggested.
"You're on." I said.
"Bring it bitch." He laughed putting the DVD into the player.
Surprisingly Reece was the first to jump, sickened on him.
"HA in you're face looser, you've a load of dirty dishes to do tomorrow," I taunted the minute the movie ended.
"Shut up River." He muttered standing up.
"What's that? Mr. Looser?" I taunted again.
"I'm going to bed, night." He sulked the whole way into the bedroom. I couldn't hold back the laughter at all.
"Night looser," I shouted before turning off the television. I made my way into my room, happy as can be.
I really do not want Reece being like this with other girls, I'm beginning to like him a lot.
"Ugh." I said into my pillow, before falling asleep.
Why are guys so frustrating?!
