THE PERFECT LUNA OF THE LYCAN KING

Chapter 4

Hailey continues her life as if nothing special happened that night. She continues to fulfill her duty as the perfect Luna of her pack. Rumors about their divorce are like a wildfire that spread easily so Alpha Cyron becomes restless.

Alpha Cyron denied all the rumors regarding the divorce thing between him and Hailey. He won't sign that divorce paper and he will never let her go. He visits her to continue convincing her to get back together. He knows that Hailey still loves him and she was just blinded by anger and jealousy.

"What are you doing here, Alpha Cyron?" she asked when she opened the door for him.

Hailey was just eating alone when she heard someone knocking on the door at her house so she quickly opened it. She thought it was her neighbor trying to get to know her but she was surprised when she saw her ex-husband standing in front of her door and acting pitifully.

"Please, Hailey. Let's talk about this matter nicely. I came here to ask for your forgiveness. Please, give me a second chance. I know you still love me so let us not divorce and come back with me. I need you." Alpha Cyron swallowed his pride just to win Hailey's heart again.

Hailey smirked. "Did you hear what you're saying, Alpha Cyron? You hurt me. You betrayed me. And now you're asking me to be with you again as if nothing happened? Before, I was blinded by love that's why I married you. But now that my eyes are open, I won't let you fool me again."

Hailey and Alpha Cyron were arguing without knowing that two eyes were watching them from a distance. He is the stranger that Hailey had a hot night the other night.

He woke up when Hailey hurriedly left his car that morning. He quickly put on his clothes and followed her secretly that's why he knew where she lived. And tonight, he attended a meeting just nearby with the other alpha's to discuss the land assignment. While he was on his way home, he passed by the woman's house and stopped for a while. That's when he saw Alpha Cyron knocking at her door and begged her to come back with him.

He is wondering why she was still a virgin when she already had a husband. If only he hadn't seen Alpha Cyrus, he wouldn't have known that the woman he had shared a hot night with was the Luna of the Almond Pack and they were called the perfect couple. Well, it seems they are not a real perfect couple.

"That man is a big fool," he commented after he saw Alpha Cyron keep begging Haily to forgive him even if she didn't want him anymore.

"Go home and be a man, Alpha Cyron. Be a responsible father to your son and a good husband to your new wife. And expect a letter of divorce in these upcoming days."

Hailey was about to close the door when Alpha Cyron suddenly approached her and struggled her neck. His eyes turned red and looks ferocious.

"I will kill you if you're not going to come back with me, Hailey. Since divorcing you will ruin my life then it's better if I kill you!" Alpha Cyron looks like he was possessed by some evil spirit. He dragged Hailey inside her house and then close the door.

"L-let me go! Y-You're a de-d-despicable, m-man!" Hailey could hardly speak. Alpha Cyron is gripping her neck tightly and she was almost out of breath.

Alpha Cyron throws Hailey onto the sofa and gives her a series of strong slaps on her face. She twisted her body when her stomach hit the armchair and felt so hurt.

" I am going to kill you, Hailey. And after that, I will tell them that you have an affair with another alpha and he was the one who killed you. I will escape the punishment for killing you and all people will sympathize with me. Because I am a perfect alpha but still my perfect Luna looks for another man. It will only tarnish your name!" Alpha Cyron laughed as if he was crazy.

"You're crazy! A murderer!" Hailey was terrified. She can't believe that the husband she adored so much for the past year turned out to be a lunatic. He approached her and pulled her hair. She screamed because she felt that her hair was about to be pulled out together. But Alpha Cyron quickly covered her mouth to avoid her voice being heard outside her house.

Hailey bit Alpha Cyron's finger. He screamed so loud and hit her again in the face.

"You b***h! I will kill you right now!"

Alpha Cyron's claws suddenly grow longer. Hailey thinks that it is the end of her life. But she couldn't accept that her life will end in the hands of her lunatic husband.

Alpha Cyron was about to use his sharp claws to kill Hailey but before his claws could touch her body, someone strongly kicked the door open.

Hailey's eyes widened when she saw a stranger coming to help her. His eyes are burning with anger. And Hailey just sees now a rare and beautiful color of his eyes. It was mixed with white and sky-blue colors.

"Who are you? How dare you barge into someone else's house?" Alpha Cyron growled at the stranger in front of him. He shows no fear while facing him.

"I am simply called Ashvan. I couldn't help but barge in because I despise a man like you. A man who physically hurt a woman," answered Ashvan, the Lycan King. He seldom shows his face to people so not many of them know his face.

"So, Ashvan. Did you come hero to save the damsel in distress?" Alpha Cyron smirked at Lycan King. He looks down on him without knowing his real identity.

Instead of answering Alpha Cyron's question, the Lycan King approached him just like the speed of lightning. He moves so fast that Alpha Cyron and Hailey don't realize the Lycan King is already in front of the first. He grabs Alpha Cyron's neck and throws him outside Hailey's house.

Alpha Cyron immediately stood up even if his body was hurt. He quickly realized that the man in front of him is stronger than him and he can't defeat him. So he quickly escaped before he could kill him.

The Lycan King approaches Hailey and helps her to stand up. When he holds her shoulders he suddenly hears his wolf whisper in his ear the word "mate". Hailey is his mate? But why he doesn't feel the bond mate between the two of them?
