CHAPTER 9 “Hak-Kun?” Kennedy called into the darkness. Her ears were still ringing with the sound of her own scream that had woken her up when something scurried across her leg. “Hak-Kun?” Was it night now? How could he have left her in here? Wasn’t she supposed to meet with someone from the Embassy? Maybe it was just all the time alone without any windows or outside light. Maybe she’d really only been here a few hours total.
