I was worried. Damien isn't back yet and chaos is starting to erupt in the pack due to his absence. People are asking for their Alpha. Paxton, as the Beta, is doing a great job, but he alone can't do it and that is why he is the Alpha's supporter.
Recently, I have been listening to arguments from the council hall. I intentionally sneaked and peeped into their meetings. Every single conversation involves their Alpha. They all raise the same question of when their Alpha will be back.
"If Alpha Damien doesn't come back soon, it will give way to enemies. The pack members are starting to grow suspicious. They haven't seen their Alpha for almost three weeks, and you expect that they just keep quiet?"
Their voices were loud and sharp. These elders aren't giving Paxton a breathing
