We arrive at Alpha Aiden’s packhouse, Aiden’s men take my mom to their clinic.
and call the pack doctor so that he will be there waiting.
Luna: (Thinking) I know he’s telling me the truth I just can’t wrap my head around it I mean
I saw my mom shift into a huge white wolf bigger than any wolf ever and I freaking partially shifted myself.
Alpha Aiden: My apologies Princess but your granddad is most definitely our King David Lupin.
Luna: If my grandfather is the King why he never said anything about it to us?
Alpha Aiden: That I can’t answer, you would have to ask him that yourself. Did you call your grandparents yet? They should know how to get here, just tell them that you are at the Blood Moon’s packhouse. This is their land after all.
Luna: Ok, I’ll call them now.
I called my granddad and told him what’s going on and where we were.
He tells me he’s on his way with Nana and that they will explain everything once they arrive.

While Luna is speaking with her grandparents the pack doctor stops to speak with
Alpha Aiden.
Alpha Aiden: Hey Doc, How is the Queen?
Pack doctor: She is fine, she is healing well. I cleaned her wound, but it seems like her mind is not ready to wake yet. I’ll give her a few more hours since this may have been her first shift I’m sure it took all her energy.
Alpha Aiden: Ok, Keep me posted.
Pack Doctor: Yes Alpha.
Luna: Can I stay with her?
Alpha Aiden: You can check on her whenever you want, but it’s best to let her rest you can stay at our packhouse, the Queen will be safe here.
Luna: Thank You, I appreciate it. I already spoke with my grandparents and they’re on their way.
They head out of the clinic together towards the packhouse.
Alpha Aiden: Are you hungry? My mate can make you something to eat before dinner if you like.
Luna: Mate? What’s a mate? And no thank you, I can wait till dinner.
Alpha Aiden: My apologies Princess, I forgot this is all new to you. A mate is a soulmate that is chosen by the Moon Goddess. Basically a mate is the other half of your soul your better half.
Luna: Oh, so your mate Is your wife? And How did you know she was your mate?
Alpha Aiden: (Laughing) Yes, she is my wife. You will know when you are near your Mate.
You will smell him or feel him when he is near, but it's different because you’re not just a wolf.
Luna: What do you mean I’m not just a wolf?
Alpha Aiden: well I’m a wolf and we don't partially shift, so I mean I know you’re a Lycan like your mom but your also more.
Luna: I don't understand. How am I more? And How would you know?
Alpha Aiden: Well your mom has been marked by the Alpha King Elijah. The Alpha King of the Mid-west to the East coast territories.
Luna: Marked? Are you talking about the bite mark on her neck? What does it mean?
Alpha Aiden: When we find our mate we mark each other as part of the mating bond.
Luna: (Growling) And you are sure his name is Alpha King Elijah?
Alpha Aiden: Uhm yeah, we can tell when a wolf is mated because a wolf will bear the mark of their mate. The mark is like a wedding band except the mark identifies who they are mated to or married too.
Luna: What if the other person was never marked?
Alpha Aiden: then the mate bond is incomplete which I don't understand because you’re standing here in front of me.
Luna POV
I feel my eyes change color again this time I’m not only angry I’m sad as I feel my eyes well up with tears. As my tears run down my cheek I growl loudly
