2 DAYS BEFORE LUNAS 18TH BIRTHDAY
Luna: Hey mom I’m going on my morning run want to come?
Evangeline: Yeah, let’s go.
They head out into the woods and after a while, Luna decides to finally ask her mom about the scars on her neck and shoulder
Luna: Mom, I’ve been meaning to ask you this for a while now. Why do you have claw marks on your shoulder and a bite mark on your neck?
Evangeline: I knew you were going to ask me this one day and I’m not surprised but I guess you should know.
Luna: Know what?
Evangeline: Well sweetie I honestly don't remember what happened. All I know is what was told to me. I was told that I was raped and then attacked by an animal, and I was in a coma for ten months.
Luna: OMG Mom wow. Was it my father?
Evangeline: I’m sorry baby but yes I never wanted you to know because your mine and nothing will change that. I don't remember what happened that night but thank God because if I did or when I do will kill him.
Evangeline’s eyes turn red as she senses danger coming near
Luna: Mom your eyes it's…
Evangeline: Shhh someone’s here.
Evangeline hears someone laughing. It's a half-naked muscular man (Rogue wolf)
Rogue man: Well well well look what we have here? A rogue and her pup.
Luna and her mom look at each other confused
Evangeline: Huh Rogue?
Luna: Pup?
Rogue man: (laughing) s**t you don't know huh? This is rich. I’m enjoying this even more than.
The rogue man shifts into a brown wolf in front of Luna and her mom, they both react in shock, but Evangeline quickly goes into defense mode pulling Luna behind her.
Evangeline: (Growling) Get the hell away from us you monster
Rogue wolf: Grrrrr
Evangeline is in completely in protective mode, She shifts for the very first time there is no pain just a quick and painless shift, but she is no ordinary wolf. She’s a Lycan and her wolf is massive and white with red eyes.
Evangeline’s wolf’s name is Eva
Eva: * Talking to Evangeline*
Don't worry I will protect our pup
Rogue: Grrrr
The Rogue lunges at Eva’s throat and Eva effortlessly slap him with her paw sending him flying into a tree.
Rogue: Grrrr
The Rogue gets up and lounges again and this time he bites down enough on her leg to hear the bone snap.
Eva: Whimpers
When Eva whimpers the Rogue thinks he won moving closer about to go in for the kill
But Eva was quicker she latches her jaws around his neck and rips his throat out killing him instantly.
Evangeline shifts back into her human, but when she tries to stand passes out in pain from her injuries. The memories of that night in the woods come flooding into her mind, and so does the history of her kind.
Luna: (Crying) Mom please wake up mom.
Luna’s POV
I am worried why isn’t my mother waking up. I begin to feel anxious as I hear more rustling in the woods.
Eva: *Talking to Evangeline*
I have unshielded your mind, so your memory of that night will come flowing back this may be painful but now your stronger you’ll need to protect our pup.
Evangeline: *Talking to Eva*
Ok, but Why am I not waking up? Luna needs me right now.
Eva: *Talking to Evangeline*
Your mind is healing and our pup is part Lycan she can shift anytime she is in danger.
Luna: Mom you have to get up please there are more of them coming. I don't know what to do mom, please.
Evangeline: …..
I begin to panic my pulse starts racing I feel my eyes change and my claws begin to extend from where my fingers once were. I‘ve partially shifted, What the hell is going on with me? A group of shirtless men begins to surround me and my mom.
Luna: (Growling) Leave us alone or suffer your friend's fate.
The man in the front center walks closer with his
hands up in surrender but points to the Rogue man’s body
Alpha Aiden: He is a Rogue we were coming here to kill him.
Luna: (Growling and stepping forward)
I don't believe you. I know you're like him.

Aiden stops speaking and moves closer to get a better view of my mom’s birthmark.
Luna: (Growling) Don't come any closer.
Alpha Aiden: (Widens eyes) She’s of Royal descent.
As Aiden says this he and his men kneel to my mother and me.

Luna: What do you mean Royal Descent?
Alpha Aiden: Your mother is a Lycan and our Queen.
Luna: No she isn’t
Alpha Aiden: And that makes you our Princess.
Aiden looks towards his pack
Alpha Aiden: Protect our Queen and the princess. May I take your mother to our pack doctor. The Queen needs medical attention?
Luna retracts her claws and her eyes return to normal
Luna: Yes, but I’m coming with you all and I need to call my grandparents.
Alpha Aiden: Wait King David is still alive?
Luna: King David? My grandfather’s name is David Lupin, but he is no King he is just my granddad.
Luna’s POV
I hope the granddad can explain what’s going on with us.
