I chuckled at Tyler as he started to hum happily again. Our professor sent him another dirty look. He wanted to kick me out as I shouldn't be in this section, but he knew Tyler would make a stink about it. He was having difficulty finishing his lecture because the humming was annoying.
Honestly, it annoyed me, but I wouldn't steal this joy from him. My first appointment was today, and I invited him to come. He asked me if he could come to my appointment a couple of days after that horrid family dinner. I didn't know how to respond. I wanted him there, but I felt like a burden. I wrestled with it for a while and even spoke to Lisa about it before I finally relented. It had been almost two weeks, and I was nervous he would be uninterested now or busy, but he was happy to go.
