I shifted restlessly. I was bored. I sent Ryan home with Jake because he was tired. Now I was painfully alone. Sighing again I checked the time I had an hour until the nurses were going to come take me for a walk. My pressure was still higher than they liked so I was a fall risk. If I got up without permission I set off an alarm. An alarm?! The whole thing was ridiculous. Yet, my eyes roamed to the fetal monitor. My babies heartbeat a constant reminder it wasn't as silly as I made it out to be. A knock on my door had me looking up. I frowned I wasn't expecting anyone for a while. My mom poked her head in and an easy smile spread across my face. "I thought you were leaving" I asked her warmly. "I was but you have another visitor and I wanted to be here", that had me confused until sh
