Two

(Kitiana)

I opened my eyes, blinking a few times to adjust my vision. In the corner of the room I saw... two Lycans? Twins? Are they both my mates? I heard my wolf purr, which made me gasp. This made both Lycans look at me before rushing to my side. Both each grabbed a hand and sparks erupted through my body.

"Are you hurting?" the one to my right asked, while the one to my left let go of my hand. I bit back a whimper that wanted to escape me when he let go of my hand. The one that let go of my hand brought a cup of water to my lips which I greedily downed. My eyes closed as I felt the water go down my throat.

"Thank you" I whispered. They both smiled at me before sitting on each side of the bed.

"How long have I been here?" I asked.

"Since yesterday. The doctor said you needed rest and, for what we can see... you look much better", the one on the right smiled, making me blush. Was I really blushing? I mentally slapped myself for blushing. I went to reach for my left leg where I was bitten when the door to the room opened, making me look at the person entering the room. Another Lycan.

"Luna, I'm glad you're awake?" the Lycan smiled. I tilted my head to the side, where I bet I looked like a confused puppy. As if sensing my confusion, the man turned to the twins, bowing his head "Alphas."

"Jake", they both gave the man a nod before he came towards me. I growled lowly, warning him not to come closer.

"My apologies, Luna. I'm Jake, the Doctor of the pack. I just want to check your leg to see how it's doing" he said, waiting for me to give him the okay. I grimaced before nodding towards the doctor. The doctor took off my bandages that were on my leg with a shocked expression.

"You're all healed up" he smiled. The twins went to look at my leg before their eyes furrowed in confusion.

"Werewolves heal fast" I grinned, which was true. The door to the room opened again but this time two beautiful female Lycans walked in.

"Gavin, Aiden, I brought clothes for our guest" the short brown hair said as she gestured for me to take the clothes. I thanked her before I turned to the other blond girl who was looking at the twins like a T-bone steak. I noticed the twins didn't pay her any attention as their eyes were on me.

"Thanks Elena. Could you make sure that everyone is at dinner? Aiden and I would like to make an announcement", Gavin said.

"Sure", Elena smiled before leaving with the other girl.

"As you know, I'm Gavin and this is my twin brother Aiden", Gavin introduces.

"I'm Kitiana". I introduced myself. They both smiled, which made my heart race.

"Well, Kitiana, I know this is a lot for you but we wanted to know... if you accept Gavin and I as your mates?" Aiden asked. Were they really asking me?

'Yes, yes, yes' my wolf howled in my head.

"Yes" I said, looking at them. They looked exactly the same though the only thing that was different was their eyes. Gavin has emerald green eyes, while Aiden has electrifying blue eyes. They both have messy black hair, a strong jawline, broad shoulders with the perfect amount of muscle and their clothes cling to their bodies, which I could only imagine how toned they were.

"Perfect", Aiden grinned.

"You can change in the bathroom right there and then we can go have dinner. You must be hungry", Gavin said. As if on cue, my stomach growled, making them both chuckle. I hurried to the bathroom and took a shower. To my surprise, there was all I needed in the bathroom, including a razor.

After my incredible much needed shower, I quickly got dressed, brushed my hair and left it lose to dry naturally. I then walked out of the bathroom to see the twins talking to another Lycan. The three of them turned to me before the other bowed his head "Luna."

"Please call me Kitiana" I said. I wanted to tell him not to bow. It felt... weird but I didn't dare.

"Kitiana, this is Kaleb, our Beta and best friend", Aiden introduced.

"Pleased to meet you Kaleb", I smiled.

"Pleasure is all mine Lu-Kitiana" he grinned before we all walked out of the room and out the hospital. I was still wary of my surroundings. Yes, I was in my mates' pack, but I have never been around a Lycan let along so many of them.

"How many Lycans are in your pack?" I asked.

"85 Lycans, 35 werewolves and 25 humans" Kaleb replied. I stopped in my tracks. Did he just say humans?

"Humans?" I echoed, backing away a little. The three of them looked at me for a second in confusion before something clicked in.

"Kitiana, have you ever been around a human?" Aiden asked.

"Uh... yes?" I said but it came out more like a question. The truth is, I have only been around one human in my life. Then a flashback hit me like an eighteen-wheeler.

*Flashback*

"Mom, dad" Killian called. I looked up at Killian, who had his arm around my shoulder and looking very happy and proud of himself. We round the corner to see mom and dad in the kitchen.

"Yes?" mom said, turning around to see us.

"I found my mate" Killian grinned.

"Where is she? Who is she?" mom asked.

"She's in the city. I will bring her by in a few days. She's human" Mom and dad both hugged Killian, clearly happy that he found his mate. But me? I was happy, sad, nervous and... scared. I was not going to be my brother's special girl. Before I knew it, I was running out of the house to the cliff where, for some reason, I always found it to be calming. I saw a shadow from the corner of my eyes. I knew it was my brother.

"Please go away" my voice broke before I broke down into a full-on sob. Killian hugged me tight until my sobs died down to hiccups. He sat me on his lap and rocked me.

"You will always be my special girl, Kitty. No matter if I had found my mate. I will always protect you with my life", he whispered in my ear. That's when it hit me. Killian wasn't just my brother. He was my best friend, my teacher, my guardian, my protector.

"I love you big brother and I want you to be happy. I'm happy for you", I hugged him.

*End of Flashback*

I found myself looking at three concerned Lycans. Aiden reached for me, wiping tears from my face.

"I'm sorry", I apologized.

"There's no reason to apologize". Gavin kissed the top of my head.

"Who's Killian?" Kaleb asked.

"My brother" I replied, not looking at him.

"Where is he?" Gavin asked.

"Dead" I said, and felt both of my mates stiffen.

"We're sorry" Aiden murmured

"Don't be," I said. We all walked to a clearing which made me stop in my tracks again. There were so many people and I could've sworn this was the whole pack.

"The pack house is not that big to have everyone for dinner, so it was better to have dinner outside" Gavin smiled pulling me along with him to where everyone was. He had just answered my question that this was the whole pack. Everyone went silent as we approached them. Kaleb left our side to stand next to a beautiful red head. He kissed the top of her head before rubbing her belly. She looked like she was about to pop any day.

"Everyone, thank you for being here. Aiden and I want to announce that we found our mate..." Gavin looked at me and opened his mouth to say something when a familiar female voice was heard.

"Kitiana?" my head snapped towards the familiar female voice. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. There, not twenty feet away from me, stood Leyla, Killian's mate. My dead brother's mate.
