ETNA Better name than Vampire!! He could say that again!! Vampires were a thing of myth - stories to make children behave! I remember being told as a young child not to wander off, or a Vampire would take me and keep me as his food. Or to eat my vegetables so the Vampires wouldn't like the taste of my blood. But I grew up, I stopped being scared of what might be hiding in the shadows as I became aware that there was nothing there! Just an object blocking light, nothing more, nothing less. So how could we be Vampires? Me? I was human. I'd been born, I'd grown up, Id never drunk blood, and I loved to learn in the garden under the hot sun in summer. I ate vegetables, I ate garlic, I slept at night.  Every myth I'd ever heard about vampires was running through my head.  There was no way I was a Vampire.  Him though..? I looked at Demitri more closely. His pale skin, his golden eyes sunken slightly, bags under them, clean shaven, messy black hair. He looked young, no more than twenty-five years old maybe. But Vampire? "I understand you may need time to process, my dear. I will answer any questions you may have, anytime of day or night" as Demitri spoke, I realised that I'd been lost in thought for a long time. "Proof would be nice? No point in asking questions on such an unbelievable story" I wasn't interested in wasting time on strange fantasy's. He grinned, a twinkle in his eye, before opening his mouth. Nothing. I moved slightly closer. His teeth looked perfectly normal to me. I was just about to call him out on his lie, when two teeth slid out of his upper gums. Now I'm not proud of what happened next but.. I fainted!
