Chapter 4

1284 Words
Nick It's been six days since I arrested that rogue of a girl. And the speculation made around her is that she has refused to shift back to her human form. I have intentionally been trying to avoid her. The thought of going before her after what happened the other day when I captured her doesn't seem to go down well with me. But it looks like everyone I have sent to her has failed woefully in convincing her to shift back to her human nature, so she can tell us about who she is working for. The mantle finally came back to me as I walked reluctantly to the private prison she was kept in. The other prisoners were not comfortable with her staying with them, so she was kept in isolation. I thought of so many ways I could get her to talk without me feeling embarrassed. I mean, I was unclad before her, leaving nothing for her image. I'm just too clumsy for my own good. Now I wonder what she thinks of me. "You are good-looking and heavily endowed down there. She must have loved what she saw," Brit said. Brit is my wolf. He seems to only show up once there is a girl in the picture. A very naughty bastard. As soon as I got closer to the gate of her prison, I heard her growl. I looked at her and took a deep breath. "Why are you refusing to shift?" I asked, looking at her. "Not everyone is comfortable walking around in their birth suit stripper," she said with a smirk. I sighed and tossed her the bag containing the prisoner shirt I was carrying. After that, I turned my back to her to have some privacy. "I am hungry," she said after some time, which made me turn to see that she had shifted to her human form and was properly clothed in her prison attire. She looked very petite. One would think she was switched with another body. I unintentionally looked around the cell to see if there was someone else because it was hard to believe that such a huge and strong wolf could turn into this little insecure and fragile girl before me. I asked. "I will have them send you something to eat after you tell me why you were spying on my pack and who sent you." "So I guess I am going to have to starve to death then," she said mischievously. "That will be if I am letting you off the hook easily." I could torture you and still force out the information I want from you before killing you, "I said, making sure I used my thickest tune to make her shiver with fear." But she just looked at me and smiled, definitely not the type of effect I anticipated. My mother will be terrified. She is all by herself, "she said, her tune a bit convincing, but I am not falling for it. "Nice performance," I said as I prepared to leave, but I paused to ask her a question that had been on my mind since our first meeting. "Are you a witch?" I asked her. The practice of witchcraft is prohibited in our park, and my father ensured that all those who found out their mates were witches were either killed or banished from the pack. The offspring of a werewolf and a witch is considered too dangerous and a recipe for disaster. "Only if you want me to be," she said with a smirk. With this attitude of hers, I doubt if she will be readapted into the pack because she is so full of herself and proud. "When you are ready to talk, send the guards to me," I said, as I walked out on her. Kyle "I was only pleading because I wanted to be modest with you dumb ass," Cleo said, making me giggle a bit. "It's not his fault, you know, I was the one that allowed myself to be caught," I said, smiling. I really should have turned them all into tiny insects with just a swipe of my hands. Oh wait, I don't know that word yet. I considered my mother and how she would cope; she is still a young and agile woman in her mid-forties, but she has never been left alone. We have always been together. My mind drifted to the morning I left home after writing a short note, telling her not to worry about me and that I would be back within seven days. I planned on touring the various packs and making acquaintances. But somehow I found myself not able to resist the moonlight pack guards. They looked cool and strong, apart from the mean-looking stripper among them. My favorite among them is Simeon. He looks cute and very friendly. I looked around my small, empty, old rusting cell and signed heavily. Well, I guess I can't stay locked up all day. It's getting dark and I need to eat. There was just one guard positioned at the gate. I recited the famous switch spell as I watched the guard fall asleep. I said a chant in Latin and the locks opened, followed by the shackles around my legs. I dragged in the guard, posing him to look like me. From the outside world, I will just appear to be sleeping. I walked out of the cell and headed straight for the woods. I had not gone far when I perceived the sweet smell of roasted meat coming from the other side of the woods, so I trailed the smell till I saw a group of wolves roosting an antelope on the fire. It looks like some people are planning a party by adding me as a guest. Now that's very mean. It smells so good that my stomach groans and my mouth waters just thinking about it. So I did some Latin freezing spells and had everyone present at the scene frozen. I walked over to where the roasted meat was and took enough for myself. I couldn't believe they were going to enjoy this all alone while I starved. That's so unfriendly. I sat down to eat, as I watched and giggled at the various positions. I had frozen them all. Halfway into my meal, I discovered someone was behind me. My heart skipped a bit. only to turn and see that it was the stripper. "How did you come out of your prison?" he asked as he watched me eat. "Prisons are for criminals and thieves, and I'm not any of these, so why should I be locked up in there to starve?" I asked, with half my mouth full of the delicious roasted meat before me. No amount of pleasure surpasses the one you get after chasing others off their kill, so you can help yourself to the kill. "Witchcraft is not allowed here in our pack." "It is considered a crime," he said. "Well, luckily for you, I am not a witch. I just happen to know a little magic, that's all," I said, as I finished off my meal and started moving away. "Where do you think you are going?" He asked from behind me. "I'm going back to my prison, jailer. don't worry I am not escaping yet, I promise to inform you before I leave. and oh, I don't think you should be around here your friends snap out of their trance, they could kill you for eating their kill jailer" I said, as I giggle at the thought of him trying to explain to his friends why and how their food went missing.
