Chapter 34 - Evil Plan

“That means,” Megan said. “Yes, they are Archeans,” Icerielle replied. “Wait, are they still eavesdropping?” Megan asked. “No, they already canceled their magic. I already detected Felxir spell right from when he started casting his spell but it took me a while to detect Krieldyr magic. I didn’t notify you about this early since I don’t want them to suspect us. But I have to stop you from talking since what you are about to say would let them know about our identity,” Icerielle replied. “Oh, that’s why you signal me to do something like that. So they would stop eavesdropping. That's good thinking, Icerielle. I never thought that you could think something like that. So, what’s the difference between Krieldyr and Felxir that you weren’t able to detect Krieldyr’s spell right away?” Megan asked. “One of the obvious reasons is that Felxir was really careless. But the main thing is, Krieldyr has outstanding magic. To be able to hide his magic to this extent is a unique skill. And the only explanation for that is he might be a royalty, a crowned prince from the Arcanea,” Icerielle replied. Megan smiles maniacally. She said, “Then we have an advantage towards them. We already confirmed their identity. Felxir being near Krieldyr means he also has a big role in their kingdom. Maybe I should pursue Krieldyr, I wanted the power of Archeans, if I could have used someone, then it has to be someone powerful. In addition to that, Krieldyr is very handsome so there’s really no other option,” Megan said. “Wait, you mean you will, ahm, have Krieldyr, ahm, make babies with you?” Icerielle asked. “Is there a problem?” Megan asked. “I mean, will the Vampire Lady accept such a thing?” Icerielle asked. “She doesn’t have to know about this. I’m going to be the next vampire lady and there only a matter of years before it happens,” Megan replied. “But if that happens, your baby will also have the blood of Archeans. How can you be sure that your child will follow after you?” Icerielle asked. “There’s a ceremony for the child between a vampire and a human that would result in the vampire’s blood to be dominant. I know that it will also apply between a vampire and archeans so you don’t have to worry about that,” Megan said. “I understand your plan, but I don’t think Krieldyr would let this thing happen. And for sure, they are also aware of the two of us. Them having to eavesdrop is a perfect proof about that. They wouldn’t do something like that to girls aside from suspecting us,” Icerielle replied. “If I can't make him follow me naturally, then I will resort to brute force or even using forbidden potions. Also, there’s a big reason for them to suspect us. We are on the top of our section other than them, so if there would be a threat to them, then it’s us. So it is really inevitable to have them drop their suspicions about us, we just have to be more careful than them,” Megan replied. “You’re right,” Icerielle replied. “Ohh, I feel that you have an objection to what I’m planning,” Megan said. “No, I don't. I’m just being cautious. The vampire lady might become angry at me,” Icerielle replied. “Well, if you do have objections, I will not consider them anyway. And about my mom, again, you don’t have to worry. You serve under me not under her, understand?” Megan said. “I understand,” Icerielle replied. “Okay, then let’s get out of here already. We are immune to sickness but they might suspect us if we take a bath too long,” Megan said. “I understand, princess,” Icerielle said. “You don’t have to call me that. Remember, we have to be extra careful,” Megan said. Icerielle nodded. After a few hours, Megan went out of their room and saw Krieldyr doing something. “Hey, what are you doing there?” Megan asked. “Oh, this. While checking the other things that we didn’t look over, I found a pamphlet about the Earth Domain. I’m taking notes of the things that might be helpful for our project. I’m about to tell you guys about this but I’m you and Icerielle might be resting like Felxir so I didn’t want to disturb you,” Krieldyr replied. “I see. We can talk about that thing later when all of us are present,” Megan said. Megan sat down on the chair across Krieldyr. “Felxir said earlier that you are good at cooking. Can I still accept that offer?” Megan asked. “Ahm, I’m really not as good as my mother but I certainly can cook though. For the offer, it is still up. I would help you if you wanted to,” Krieldyr replied. “Really? Then I want to accept that offer. Icerielle made me realize that I’m really not good at cooking and I don’t want to disappoint you and Felxir but at the same time, I wanted to practice cooking so I can become good at it at a certain time,” Megan said. “Oh, it’s not a problem. But I’m not sure if I’m good at teaching,” Krieldyr replied. “I’m certain that you are good at it. Ahm, can we do the teaching on a regular basis? Or will it use up much of your time?” Megan asked. “I don’t really know how our project will go since we are still in the planning phase, but since we are in the same apartment, having one or two hours is not really a problem. Though it may change when we do have things to do on our project,” Krieldyr replied. “Don’t worry, I’m sure that I will be good at cooking when that time comes,” Megan said. “So, when do you want to start?” Krieldyr asked. “Hmm, can we cook a meal for the four of us using the ingredients in the refrigerator?” Megan asked. “As to what I remember, there’s more than enough,” Krieldyr replied. “Then let’s do it today,” Megan said.
