Chapter 13 - Eura's arrival

Felxir saw Krieldyr smile which made him confused.
"Why are you suddenly smiling, Krieldyr? Instead of you capturing Icerielle's heart, why does it look like you are the one who is in love?" Felxir pointed out. "Get yourself together. You are not allowed to fall in love with a vampire. You know that."
"I know that. I just can't imagine she's too fragile when it comes to me. I can see that our plan is now happening. Capturing her heart is too easy and she's now trusting me," Krieldyr said.
"Oh really? That's good then. Keep it up. I won't bother you again when it comes to Icerielle as long as you let me flirt with Eura," Felxir said in a kidding way.
After minutes of waiting, Eura and her parents had finally arrived at the palace. Everone welcomed them, except Krieldyr since he is hiding his identity. He stayed in the office and just waited for them to come up and visit him.
"My dearest brother, how are you?" Eura asked.
She is now with Felxir. Krieldyr knows that his cousin likes Felxir too. He is not going to support Felxir if Eura does not like him. They are still young and some decisions in life would change.
"Doing great. How about you? You look really inspired. Is it because of Felxir?" Krieldyr asked to see if Eura would admit her feelings toward his friend.
Eura blushed upon hearing his teasing. She can't just tell her real feelings since for her, some Archeans might get irritated to Felxir because of admiring her. She doesn't like her special someone to be treated unfairly.
"I am always like this, Kriel. Don't be an issue maker. You are the one who looks inspired," Eura said, defending herself.
"If you say so, Eura. I will believe you," Krieldyr said. "Let's go to the dining hall. Maybe they are waiting for us."
Eura first left the office. She didn't realize that Krieldyr and Felxir were not behind her back.
"Do you think I have a chance on Eura? I feel like she really sees me as a friend, not more than that. Am I wasting my time pursuing her?" Felxir said, losing all his hopes to be liked by Eura.
"Well, as far as I know and according to what I have observed, she really likes you. Maybe there is something stopping her from telling you," Krieldyr said, giving hope and assurance to Felxir.
"There you go again, trying to tease me without proof. If she likes me, she will admit it to me directly. We've been friends for many years. I am losing hope," Felxir said.
"Maybe she has the reasons? Let's see what will she react if she sees you with another girl. Sometimes you need to trigger them to see your worth," Krieldyr said, trying to convince his friend.
Both of them stopped talking when Eura showed up. They forgot that they need to go to the dining room. Eura is confused why the two don't even move when she left the room.
"What are you two talking about? Let's go to the dining room. They are already waiting for us," Eura said.
"I am just convincing Felxir to stay here for a vacation," Krieldyr reasoned out.
Felxir has already made up his decision to stay here. He raised his eyebrow when Krieldyr used it as his reason.
"Oh? You should stay here. After a half year, we were able to meet each other again so make the most of it. We'll see each other again after six months. Also, your parents are also here so why not stay for longer here?" Eura is now convincing Felxir.
Krieldyr secretly smiled at Felxir and his friend saw it. Now, Felxir got what Krieldyr wanted him to hear from Eura. Even Eura wants him to stay here. This gave him another reason to like Eura even more.
"If you insist, who am I to reject it?" Felxir said, trying to make Eura laugh. He did not fail since Eura smiled and slapped his shoulder.
They are now walking together while Krieldyr was left, shaking his head and trying not to laugh at the two. His instinct never fails him and he knows the two like each other for a long time.Felxir saw Krieldyr smile which made him confused.
