Chapter 16 making the scars go away

Adonis’s P.O.V

I finally finished dealing with all the scars on the front of her body, but I knew she had even more on her back and the back of her legs and arms. She must have known what I wanted her to do next as she sighed and closed her eyes tightly when she turned and lay on her stomach. I gasped when I saw her back and how bad it was. It looked like a f*****g tree with all the differents branches spreading out, but as I touched her back I felt how each scar was raised and made the skin on her back almost rough like bark.

“When I tried to escape, Alpha Billy found me and brought me back, then took me to one of his rooms. He grabbed one of his whips, the ones that have the metal spikes on the end and he whipped my back. He gave me two hundred lashes because it was the second time I tried to escape. He beat me so badly that I passed out.” Liv said and for the first time ever I was thankful that she couldn’t see my face. I was pissed and so was Indigon, so much so that he was roaring in my head and I was starting to shift.

“Calm down, Indigon, we’ll get him, but you don’t want to scare her, not after what she’s been through. If you scare her we could end up losing her.” I said and felt as he calmed down enough to stop me from shifting. I leaned down and gently licked all over her back, making sure to get each and every scar, then I sat back up right and watched as her scars disappeared. I looked down at her butt, but I was confused to see that there was the letter B on her ass. I ran my finger across it and she flinched again.

“Alpha Billy took a hot branding poker and branded me with it, saying that my ass belonged to him. Every night he would come into my room and I would fight him off, but sometimes I would win and sometimes I would lose.” Liv said, her body now trembling and I knew that she was remembering what he did to her. I leaned down and licked over the whole area, then watched as the mark vanished, but I couldn’t help licking the area between her ass cheeks. She lifted her ass up and towards my face and moaned. I smirked and continued to lick around the area and then sat up and looked at the back of her legs.

“Alpha Billy’s mate, Luna Ally, decided to have fun and whipped my legs with the whip.” Liv said, as I leaned down and licked right down to her ankles and then back up to her ass again.

“You can turn back around now.” I said and watched as she turned around. The bruises on her face were nearly healed, so I didn’t need to heal them. I held out my hand and she placed her hand in mine as I helped her up from the bed.

“Come with me.” I said, walking her over to the full body mirror. The whole time she stood in front of that mirror she had her eyes closed, not wanting to see her body.

“Open your eyes, sweetheart. Your scars and bruises are gone.” I whispered to her and she slowly opened her eyes. She gasped as she looked at herself in the mirror.

Liv’s P.O.V

I didn’t want to get my hopes up when he said he could heal my scars, but it was hard. Every time he licked one of my scars I felt nothing, there was no pain, but there was also nothing that made me think that whatever it was he was doing was working. He helped me stand from the bed and walked me over to the mirror, but I kept my eyes shut tight because I didn’t want to see my scar riddled body and then he told me the scars and bruises were gone, so I opened my eyes. I was shocked to see that he was right, all the scars and bruises that previously covered my body were now gone. I was happy that they were gone, but nothing would ever take the memories of what happened to me away. I looked at my face and saw that the bruises there were nearly gone, but for the first time in years I saw a light in my eyes.

“Liv, we need to talk, come sit down.” Adonis said and now I was worried. What could he possibly want to talk to me about? Adonis handed me a robe and I quickly put it on, realising that everything I had was hanging out in the open. I felt comfortable in my skin now, but I still had my dignity and didn’t want to flaunt myself. I sat down on the edge of the bed and waited for the dreadful talk, but I was now expecting him to reject me or tell me that I wasn’t his mate, just like Alpha Billy did.

“Listen, I had another mate before you, a chosen mate, but the only reason I chose her was because I couldn’t find you, my real mate. It lasted for a few years, until she found her true mate, who happened to be a vampire and he was also the one who turned. When they first told me I was mad at first, but what could I do? There was no way I was going to stand between mates, so I let her go. I rejected her as my chosen mate and let her go free and then there was another. Cali. We weren’t mates, we were just f**k buddies, but she wanted to be my queen and I kept denying her. I told her we were just fooling around until I found my true mate and she wasn’t happy about that at all. I promise you that the second I found you I stopped fooling around with her completely. I have told her that I found you, my mate and I no longer do anything with her, even though she wants to, but I don’t and I tell her….” Adonis said and before I could say anything I let out a strange growl like roar. My hand went to my mouth, embarrassed because I didn’t know where it came from, but Adonis started laughing.

“I don’t think your dragon likes the thought of Cali coming onto me and neither do you.” Adonis said, smirking.

“No, no I do not, but now I know why Rachel was having me train so hard. I needed to be strong in case she tried to pull something.” I said, feeling annoyed. I didn’t want to be a bully because I was bullied most of my life, but I also refused to be bullied by this Cali b***h either.

“I think we need to be somewhere so that she can confront me. I want to see what she will say because I won’t be bullied and I won’t put up with her bullshit either.” I said and Adonis started laughing.

“I’m glad you’re coming out of your shell.” Adonis said, watching as I smirked.

“Be careful what you wish for, come on, let's get some sleep.” I said as I scooted up the bed and got under the blankets, then Adonis joined me, holding me through the night as we drifted off to sleep.

Cali’s P.O.V

I was putting my plan together and I had finally managed to get Adonis’s mate’s name from the hospital records. Liv Morgan. I googled her name, but I had only seen her from the back, so I didn’t know what she actually looked like. Adonis had kept her hidden from everyone, including me and somehow he knew that I would harm her or something. I smirked as I looked through Google and finally came across two Alpha’s that used to be her Alpha’s of her old packs. Alpha Ozzy and Alpha Billy. Those two were hot, but there was only one person I wanted and that was Adonis. I’ll see if I can get close to her tomorrow, maybe I can even help train her. I wonder if she has started training yet?

Polly’s P.O.V

I woke up startled as the dream I had felt real, way too real for my liking. I was on a boat and the deck was full of blood, it was like there was something lurking out there and thirsting for blood, it was playing with me. I heard a scream and I ran to go see who it was when I saw a creature attacking this woman, ripping her head right off her shoulders. I screamed as the creature threw her into the dark water and the waves washed her body away. I looked into the creature's eyes as he growled telling me I was next and that’s when I woke up. I was covered in a cold sweat, but I felt like I was on fire. I needed to get out of here and feel the cool breeze over my body. I went outside to the middle of the yard and my bones started to break, getting larger as I began to shift. After a few minutes I was almost as tall as my brother and my scales were green with diamond shimmering blue. My eyes were a dark blue with green and silver around them, my wings had a little black at the tips. I moved my wings a few times and then I was lifted up into the air. My dragon Hydra was flying high in the sky as rain drops started to fall and even though I knew I needed to get back home, I wanted to keep flying. The rain got harder as I turned to get back to the castle. I landed and shifted back into my human form as my sister hurried to hand me a robe.

“Come on, it's storming and we need to get inside.” Nicole said as we hurried into the castle and up to our room.

“Listen, Cali is planning something, so we need to hurry up and train Liv. I overheard her talking to someone about killing her, so it's only a matter of time.” Nicole said to Rachel and I, making us both gasp. We needed to get Liv ready so that this b***h, Cali could be dealt with once and for all.
