Adonis’s P.O.V

The next morning both Liv and I were up, showered and dressed early, eager to get today over and done with. I looked at our outfits and found that Liv and I were matching again, but I didn’t mind one bit. I was wearing a black button up shirt with the top three buttons undone, black jeans and black shoes, but I had my hair brushed back and lying flat on my black. Whereas Liv was wearing black jeans, a black button up blouse and her hair was up in a ponytail. I looked at how Liv’s clothes hugged her body and I wanted nothing more than to rip them off ehr and make love to her all day, but we both knew that James and his mate would be here soon and I knew that there was going to be nothing but trouble when they arrived. It was nearly two in the afternoon when Beta Tech came into my office and gave us grim news.

“They are here, Adonis.” Beta Tech said and I sighed, then mind-linked Liv to join me in my office. A few minutes later Liv walked into my office and stood beside me, then Beta Tech came back in with our guests.

Liv’s P.O.V

A man standing at 6.0 with short blonde hair and hazel eyes that looked like he had some red and blue in them, wearing slacks and a button up blue shirt walked in and stood behind Beta Tech, then a woman came in and stood next to him. When Adonis called me to the office I was prepared for everything and anything, until I saw the woman who was beautiful. She looked about 5.9, with red hair and dark blue eyes that looked to have a little green and pink in them, wearing a skirt that almost went to her knees and a blouse that showed off her cleavage. I watched her sit down and I didn’t like her one bit, especially as she kept looking at Adonis and slowly licking her lips at him. I wanted to jump over the desk and rip her f*****g throat out, but Adonis held my hand and he must have known what I was about to do.

“Dove, behave or I’ll make you go sit in the car until we get done.” The man said and the woman I now knew as Dove rolled her eyes at him.

“Oh James, I was only teasing, but I promise I’ll behave. I don’t want to miss out on the meeting.” Dove replied to James, but she kept her eyes on Adonis the whole time. I watched how she drooled over my mate, but then I cleared my throat and she quickly snapped out of it, looking around to see who had done it and then her eyes landed on me standing next to Adonis.

“Sorry, I love to see him with his hair down on his shoulders and back, it makes the muscles in his chest look amazing.” Dove said, winking at me, but I just hissed at her, not caring who heard me. I’d had enough of this b***h, but then she just smirked at me and crossed her legs. I wanted to rip her head off and my dragon, Edan, was in agreement as she didn’t like her either.

“Calm down, Edan, she will get hers. Just let her f*****g wink at me one more time and I’ll rip her eye out.” I said, talking to my dragon.

“So James, what brings you here to my castle. I know it's not for more territory as you have plenty.” Adonis asked and James smirked at him, but then he looked at me.

“You’re right, I came because I heard about you finding your mate and I wanted to be the first to meet her and to let her know that you won’t be king for too long because I, James Colt, challenges…..” James started to say, but he didn’t have a chance to finish as Adonis jumped over his desk and knocked James out of his seat.

“So, what the f**k are you challenging me for? The last time you did this you almost got your ass killed, but I let you go, James.” Adonis said and the whole time I kept my eye on Dove, who was looking shocked more than anything else. Dove quickly gathered herself and ran over to help her mate, but then she grabbed Adonis by the hair and started pulling on it to get him off James. I watched as Adonis pushed her back, but then she started hitting his back and that’s when I saw that she was pulling a knife out of her bag to stab him. I jumped on Dove, grabbing her by the hair and dragging her across the floor, kicking and screaming.

“LET ME GO YOU STUPID f*****g b***h!!!” Dove screamed at me, so I did. I threw her across the room, letting her land in a heap against the wall and then I stalked towards her, hissing and growling at her. My eyes were changing colour with how angry I was, but Dove was so shocked that she couldn’t speak. I grabbed her by the throat and brought her up off the floor so that her feet were dangling off the ground.

“I think you and your cheating ass mate need to get the hell out of our home and never come back. If you ever try to seduce my mate or anyone else's mate again you won’t be walking out of here alive. I think you have opened your legs enough already, don’t you?” I said, threatening her, but then she reached up and slapped me hard across the face. I let her go and Dove fell to the floor, clutching her throat, while I recovered from the slap and then picked her up once again by her throat. I walked over to the door, still clutching her throat and threw her out, then I walked out of the office towards her, once again picking her up.

“YOU WANT TO f*****g SLAP ME, b***h?!!” I shouted at her and balled up my fist, then punched her in the mouth. I let go of her throat and she dropped to the ground, holding her face and throat, gasping for air. Adonis had James by the back of his neck and made short work of tossing him out of the office door next to his mate.

“Like the queen has said, if you ever come back here you will die and I won’t have any mercy on either of you.” Adonis said and I looked over at Dove.

“I, Liv Morgan, the queen of dragons, order you, Dove Mcol, to step down as Luna of her pack and every other pack. You have thirty days to prove you can be a respectful Luna, if you can’t then you will become just a pack member and the same goes for you, James. You have thirty days to prove you can be a good Alpha, if you can’t, I’ll make sure that you are replaced, is that clear?” I said and they both began to protest.

“But…but you can’t do that, you just can’t, you just can’t do that.” Dove said, as Adonis came and stood next to me.

“Oh but she can and she just did. She’s the f*****g queen and she can do whatever she f*****g wants to do. Like she said, you both have thirty days to prove that you're worthy of your titles and those thirty days start now. At the end of the thirty days my queen and I will arrive at Dragon Blue Moon pack and we will investigate, talk to random pack members and see what they have to say. Now get the hell away from my home.” Adonis said and they both glared at us.

James’s P.O.V

That b***h thinks she can demote me and my Luna, treat us like s**t and then threaten us. Who the f**k does she think she is? Dove and I left the castle and got back into our car, then drove off the territory.

“They will pay for this, they will both pay for this. Let them come, I’ll have a nice surprise waiting for them when the thirty days are up.” I said and Dove smirked at me, knowing just what I was thinking.
