I woke up this morning to my eyes burning. The maids had drawn my curtains back. The sunlight seemed brighter than normal today. I guess it must have been all the partying last night. I laid there debating on if I wanted to get up and go walk the packland to check on the security systems or if I wanted to remain in bed and send Josiah or Tilden to go do it for me. After laying there for what felt like hours I finally got up and jumped in the shower. I knew if I had laid in bed, Jonas, my father's Beta would crawl my ass for not doing my job as Alpha.
When I got out of the shower the kitchen had sent up my breakfast and it was set up on the table on my balcony. I got dressed and went and sat outside to eat. While I was watching over my pack members as they went about their morning, One of them caught my eye. It was an Omega named Georgia whom I have yet to interact with. Something about this Omega made me feel as if we could be connected somehow. I have watched her for a while from afar but haven't had the guts to get close enough to speak with her. I don't even know what her scent smells like. There have been days where I have sat here and wondered but never have had it in me to find out.
She is a very beautiful she-wolf and I think that her beauty alone may intimidate me a little. My wolf, Braiden has been on me to go speak to her so we can figure out why we feel like we may be connected to her. I keep fighting with him when he tries to take control if we are in an area where she is close. I am not ready to interact with her. I want her to come to me first. I know she will eventually because everyone knows I am a goddess gift to all she-wolves. I have even had dudes try to hit on me. When I finish my breakfast, I walk down to the front door and head out to make my security check rounds. I always try to walk by the bookstore just to peek in the window at her. I know I sound like a perve. Today was no different. I had to check the security camera on the outside of the bookstore.
As I was doing so, I looked into the window and she was behind the counter tending to a customer. When the customer left the counter I was met with big beautiful brown eyes. I quickly went back to checking the camera and left when I finished. After my rounds, I went to find Josiah to see what he had planned for this evening. I was still tired from last night's party so I wanted to do something different. I found him by the school with some she-wolf who looked about 18. I shook my head at him and cleared my throat. He turned and smirked at me. I asked what we had going on tonight and he told me that a bunch of the she-wolves from the college were going out partying by the lake and we had been invited. I told him that sounded good but I wasn't up for it. I told him to take Tilden and them go have fun. He asked what I was going to do and I told him just hang out in my room. When I walked off I heard a few of the she-wolves I was passing giggle and I smiled at them. They both blushed and walked off. I went back to the packhouse and went to my room. I mind-linked Beta Jonas and told him I had done my walk-through and everything was working correctly. He told me he would be away on business for the next few days, tying up the loose ends of a contract for my father's company. I told him if he needed me to contact me and we ended our mind-link. I laid back on my bed and pictured that beautiful brown-eyed she-wolf whom I couldn't get out of my head and smiled.
