{Alpha Brandon} It's been a week since she agreed to come to dinner and I am starting to go insane counting down the days until we are in the same room. My wolf Braiden has been hounding me and now I am finally going to be in the same room with her. I had to have a little talk with Braiden last night about learning how to control himself when she is in the room with us. He has been fighting me to take over and just go to her but I don't want to scare her. I told him that I was to be in control until I give him permission to speak that way she doesn't freak out. He told me I was the most annoying human part he has ever known. I told him I am the only human part he has ever been with so he would have to get over it. After our talk, Braiden begged me to shift so he could run for a while. I told him I would let him out tomorrow night when the moon was full. He huffed and said fine then retreated into the back of my mind. I shook my head and said quit acting like a teenage boy. I had a few phone conferences to make today to go over building a strip mall in town and I had my lunch brought up to me. I requested that Dara bring my food today so I could ask her if Georgia was nervous about the dinner. When lunch was ready, Dara opened the office door and she smirked at me. I guess she could see the eagerness on my face as I quickly stood from my chair. She sat my lunch tray down, "Alpha Brandon, what made you want to ask for me to deliver your lunch tray today?" "I like you more than the other Omegas down in the kitchen. They come up and are all flirty and have staring problems but you, you don't flirt and you aren't eyeballing my body like I am an ice cream cone you want to lick." She burst out laughing. "Alpha Brandon, I do find you attractive but I was raised better than that. You aren't my mate and I have no right to look at you like that. I feel it is only acceptable to look at our mates like that." "See this is why I want you to bring me my food. You have respect for not only your Alpha but for yourself and your mate whoever he or she may be." She said thank you for the compliment and asked if there was anything else she could do for me because she needed to get back to work. "Yes. There is one thing before you go. Can you tell me if Georgia is nervous about the dinner?" She stared at me for a moment and I could tell she was debating on if she should answer that question or not. "Yes. Georgia is nervous about this dinner. I mean honestly Alpha Brandon, I would be too. It's not every day your Alpha delicious invites you for dinner." I smiled at her. "Well played Miss Dara." She smirked at me then bowed and left. Once I was finished with my conferences, I went for a walk. I was walking through the courtyard when I saw Tilden and some girl in the alley behind the flower shop. They were making out and he was groping her. I decided to break it up because that kind of behavior doesn't need to be displayed in the open for the pack to see. I walked up and cleared my throat. Tilden started to turn, "Who the f*ck is bothering.." He trailed off once he turned and saw it was me. "Alpha Brandon, My apologies I didn't know it was you." "I can tell you were unaware of who it was, but Tilden from now on I do not want to see this kind of behavior out in the open. You may be the soon-to-be Gamma of this pack but If you are going to be doing this" and I motioned between him and the girl. "You need to do it behind closed doors. Do I make myself clear?" They both said Yes, Alpha Brandon and I walked off. As I was walking away I whispered, One issue taken care of Thea as if she could hear me. I walked through the courtyard and down to the pond. I was standing there staring down at the water when I heard crying. I looked around and saw a young woman coming from the woods. I ran to her and asked if she was ok. She nodded and I asked why she was crying. I noticed she had some scratches on the side of her neck and asked if she was attacked by someone. She bowed, "Alpha Brandon, Thank you but I am fine." She walked off but I could see her shaking and she would slightly turn her head as if to see if she was being followed. Something was right. Something happened to her and as Alpha of this pack I need to find out what. I took off in the direction she came from to see if I could find any clue as to what happened to her when I saw Josiah walking toward me. I asked him if he saw the girl that just came from the woods, crying and he said he heard someone crying and that was why he was out there but he didn't see anyone. I said how did you miss her Josiah? She literally just walked out of the woods. He said he came in from a different part of the woods. I said just go make sure that girl gets home safely you can still catch up to her if you run. He nodded and left. I walked around looking for any type of clue of what went on but didn't see anything or anyone. I headed back to the packhouse to sit on my balcony and watch for anything else weird going on.
