Later that day, I tried to keep myself busy since I could not sleep. Every time I closed my eyes, new nightmares began to haunt me. Memories I had no relation with began to bombard me. I was not even sure if Eva had remembered it. I think, given her past trauma, she had forgotten all about it, living inside a bubble. When that bubble burst, she had no strength to fight.
