“Tremayne Towers is huge,” I told Lindee as the elevator took us up to the main floor. “It has shops, restaurants and spas. You never have to leave, if you don't want to.” I turned to smile at Dante, but he had vanished, now that the threat of vampires was gone.
“Cool. As long as we can do some shopping. I don't care.” It was no secret Lindee had a penchant for shopping. I really do think she missed our modern world a lot more than she cared to admit.
“So, what does this really mean?” Lindee asked. “I mean whatever the hell they're going to do tonight with Vasyl?”
