That night, the moment that Duke left to attend the council meeting, I immediately prepared to leave. I know what I am going to do is dangerous but I have to do it anyway. I can’t just let Lelo be in danger while I can do something about it.
I didn’t know what I was going to do once I get there, all I have in mind is that I need to be there no matter what.
I put on my jacket and started sneaking out of the house without anyone noticing me. It was hard since there were guards everywhere but I really just took everything slowly and did not make any noise.
Ever since I was little, Lelo and I have always been best of friends. He helped me a lot and even defended me to some bullies at grade school before. I haven't really thought of it that much but I guess he has always been my guardian
