Duke and I immediately went to where the man leads us. He said that my mother was attacked and she was fine but severely injured. Mom was already in the pack’s hospital so we went there directly. I rushed to where Mom was and saw her lying on the bed.
“Mom, are you alright? What happened?” I said as I inspected her. She has some bruises and some cuts.
“I’m fine, it was just some scratches.” She said as she smiled at me weakly.
