I looked around and was amazed at how things were going on. Pack members were laughing and enjoying each other’s company. I can’t help but be proud of Lelo and Duke; they were the ones who made this possible.
“Are you alright?” Duke asked beside me.
“I am more than alright, hon,” I said. “Imagine, everyone is here to welcome Lelo. How cool can that be?”
“Yeah, so cool,” He said. “Anyway, I think the program’s just about to start.”
“Oh yeah,” I said. “I can’t wait for the after-party. It’s going to be fun!”
“It sure will be,” He said.
