(Andrea POV)
"My name is Andrea Wilson," I answered, and she scribbled a few things on her notepad.
"So, Andrea! Are you on pills or birth control shots?" She asked, and I gulped before showing her my arm to show my birth control implant; she nodded.
"Have you taken any drugs in recent months?" Although her questions were professional, I started feeling a bit uncomfortable.
"It's okay! Your information will be confidential. I will not share anything with them," She knew I wasn't comfortable sharing anything with her because I knew She would share everything with the brothers.
"Yeah! I took h@sh a year ago, but I stopped after that." I don't want to dwell on the details; she didn't force me to.
"Okay! We will run a few tests on you, and then you will be good to go," she said, taking out a syringe. I closed my eyes and felt a pinch of pain, but it soon vanished. Pain didn't affect me like before; I got used to it now. A sad smile appeared on my face.
"She is their baby sister, Hannah," she answered casually, even though I didn't ask her anything. But I got up with a jolt.
"WHAT???"
"Keep your voice down, Girl! You will put both of us in trouble," She warned me, and I gulped hard before nodding my head in okay.
"But, She was crying in pain, and I thought, She is their captive," I answered, but my voice was barely above a whisper.
"I know! Everyone thinks The Lombardi Brothers are undefeatable, but They are still searching for their family members. The Irish mafia head, Avalon, kidnapped her three years ago. It took them one whole year, with all their influence and manpower, to find her. Sadly, They were late to rescue her. They tortured her physically and mentally. We have been trying to help her for the last two years, but she can't forget those days. We tried therapy, medicine, and everything, but she refused to open up. In this way, she will never heal, and she has to experience the same pain after a few days. It became a painful cycle for her." My eyes burned with unshed tears.
"I tried everything, but sadly, only a close person, friend, or a family member can help her. She refuses to open up to any outsider. The Brothers are feeling her pain but can't express it in front of her, which made it more difficult for us to help her," She explained and started mixing some chemicals in the blood test tube. Still, my whole attention was fixed on Hannah.
"I will give you the results of these tests after a few days. You can go now," Doctor said. She gave me the green signal, and I left the room. I entered the elevator with a numb mind; all the incidents of my past started coming in front of my eyes like a slideshow. I blinked a few times to stop my tears. The elevator stopped, and its door opened with a ping sound. I stepped out of it, and all eyes moved towards me. I could see anger in their eyes. Clearly, Rico probably shared my thoughts with them, but I don't give a damn about them. I opened my mouth to explain everything but then decided against it. I turned my face towards my room, but before I could take another step, the floor spun around me, and in the next second, I landed on the clean floor with a loud thud.

"Andrea! Can you hear me? Wake up, Andrea!" I heard a familiar feminine voice, and I slowly opened my eyes. I felt severe pain in the back of my head.
"Sh*t! It's hurting," I said and touched my head.
"Don't worry! It will be alright in a few minutes," she added. I blinked a few more times to clear my blurry vision.
"Mrs. Ryan!" I said, and she nodded her head.
"I didn't know that you liked me so much," she joked, and I smiled.
"She is fine! I just need a bit of rest," she informed someone. I looked toward the person but didn't expect him to be there.
"Thank you so much, Martha," He thanked him, and with this, Martha left my room.
"How are you feeling now?" He asked in a serious voice.
"Ciro! You don't have to worry. I am alive," I answered, and he clenched his jaws in anger.
"Good!" With this, he left the room. I looked towards the door, and then my body relaxed.
"You have to be strong, Andrea! You can't afford anything like this," I said to myself, and then got up slowly. I hissed when another wave of pain hit me, but I was determined to get up. I wasn't any damsel in distress, so this much weakness would do nothing to me. I slowly walked towards the bathroom. I want to avoid calling anyone for help. My head spun a few times, but I clenched my jaws and shook my head to clear my vision. I closed the door of the bathroom and then trotted towards the toilet. I didn't know this simple task needed so much energy. After relieving myself, I put a hand on the side wall before standing up.
I quickly washed my hands and came back to the room. No one was there, so I picked up my laptop and walked towards the bed.
"You are not allowed to work for a few days," Rico was in the doorway with a bowl of soup.
"Oh, really! But I will complete my work anyway," I answered, slowly putting the book on the bed before opening its lid.
"Why are you so stubborn, Butterfly?" He asked, putting the tray on the sofa, away from the bed.
"I am not stubborn. I just have to complete this work," I answered and started typing on the laptop. He huffed in anger and left my room. I gulped hard and looked towards my fingers. My hands were shaking, and all the bad memories were threatening to come to the surface, but I was trying to lock them away. I needed a distraction right now, but not even my work could distract me at that moment.
I closed my laptop and slowly walked towards the cupboard. I have to go out, and only one thing can distract me other than work: S*x. My head was spinning with everything, but I had to do this right now. Otherwise, I would have a nervous breakdown.
"Are you going somewhere, Hacker?" I heard Ciro's deep baritone and nodded my head without turning towards him.
"The f*ck you are! You are not well, so we can't let you leave this apartment right now," He said flatly. I turned towards him. My eyes turned red with unshed tears, but I didn't care.
"What am I to you guys? A prisoner? If you think so, then you are delusional. I am my own person, and no one can stop me from doing so," I answered, but my tone was loud, as if I were screaming.
"You are trying to distract yourself, right?" I froze. His words were so blunt but straightforward, I wasn't ready for this.
"It means I am right! How will you distract yourself?" He asked another question, but I didn't answer him.
"You only have three ways to distract yourself, right? Work, alcohol, and S*x. Your laptop is closed, which means it's not working. You can't take alcohol with medication, so it means…" He stopped, like his own conclusion caught him off-guard.
"And You are not allowed to even step out of this apartment," he ordered before turning towards the door.
"Finish this and sleep," he said, pointing towards the bowl of soup. Then he left. I stood there for a few minutes, trying to digest his words.
"No! He can't control my life. I will prove this to him," I mumbled under my breath before looking towards the bowl of soup. I walked towards Gabriele's room. Only he can provide what I want now, but It can also be dangerous because I don't know how much of a beast he is. I hope I can handle him. I knocked on his door and pushed it open. He was sitting on the bed while Rico was present on the couch with his laptop.
"Ciro isn't allowing me to leave this apartment," I said, and he arched his brow like he was trying to ask, 'Then what can I do?'.
"I have to distract myself, and I need s*x," His eyes sparked with interest.
"I need hot, wild, mind-numbing s*x and… Only you can provide me that," I explained.
"Can you do that?" I asked, My heart was thudding in anticipation.
"Well! Gabriele never says No to S*x and Alcohol, so My room or your room?" He asked, and a smile crept on my lips. My shoulders sagged in relaxation. I looked towards Rico.
"Your room," I answered without hesitation.
"But I am not going anywhere," Rico announced.
"No need! I don't mind if you want to enjoy a live show. You are allowed to join us too," I winked, and his mouth hung open. I quickly unbuttoned my s**t and threw it away. I heard rustling sounds behind me, which meant Rico was also ready to join us.
