Lucas' POV:
We were holding hands all the way from the waterfalls to where we were parked. And I was beaming from when we left until we returned to the cabin. It was already sundown when we arrived, and everyone was already preparing for dinner. When they saw us, they immediately knew something good had happened.
"I guess everything went well, your majesty?" Iris knowingly asked.
I smiled at her, hugged her, and thanked her. When they left the burger joint, she mind-linked me for some advice. She told me to be honest with Cory, to listen to her, and express my thoughts. And that it will all work out. She was right. Everything worked out, and I am now the happiest werewolf alive!
