I woke up where my face was lying on a hard board. Last night, we had a celebration. Ellie offered me a beer, and Lucas was mad and said I was tipsy. Then, we went back to the cabin. Then…oh, goddess! Last night, we, Lucas and I…I tried to sit up from the bed to make sense of everything last night, but a huge hand pulled me closer.
“Where are you going, babe?” His voice is still groggy.
“Uhm, nowhere…”
He chuckled, “Trying to escape from me, aren’t you?”
“Of course not!”
“Then, we will stay a little bit longer in bed. This feels good.”
“Sleeping on the bed?” I felt guilty that he had to sleep on the couch for so long.
“Nope. Waking up beside you is good. The absolute best!”
