"Hey, hero! How are you?" I smiled, looking at Nic on a video call.
Nic used to call me daily, and we talked a lot. I missed him. He was such a sweet kid, and whoever met him became his friend. Today I was very sad. But his cute smile and sweet face took all my tiredness and sadness away in a heartbeat.
"Hey, Riya! I am good. You know, today I went to meet Noah," he told me excitedly.
