"Ma'am, we have arrived at Leonardi Mansion," Miles announced, pulling me to reality. I looked out of the window as the car moved along the concrete path. The beautiful garden of the Leonardi mansion didn't enchant me, unlike always. Finally, the car stopped before the foyer. Miles stepped out of the car and came to open the door for me.
"Give me a few minutes, Miles," I whispered, wiping my eyes.
I dabbed the corner of my eyes, waiting a few minutes to stop my tears from spilling out of them, then I stepped out of the car.
Today I learned how much it hurts when the heart gets broken in love.
