I must have fallen asleep for a few hours, because when I came around the sun was starting to set. Rays of its light were shining through the trees in brilliant colors of orange and red. Activity had started to die down as well, with fewer and fewer critters scurrying about. I knew I should get going again. I didn't know how much farther there was to civilization, or how much distance I had put between myself and Master. Groaning slightly, I pushed myself up with my good arm and began to tediously walk through all the trees. I had scarcely started trudging along before a growling in my stomach reminded me that I needed food and water. I looked around in hopes of finding a bush of berries or a puddle, but there was nothing. The ground beneath me was wet however, so I knew there had to be
