It was nine o'clock and dinner had been over hours ago. Lisa had helped her out in the kitchen again, though she could tell the woman was eager to get back outdoors so Brooke did her best to tackle as much as she could by herself. After clearing the dishes and cleaning up the kitchen she went to her cabin, took a shower, and fell into bed. Before going to sleep she called
