Chapter 7 – Inquiry Hall The next day, Jerry found himself in Locus's Inquiry Hall, and he observed it with fascination. He had never been involved in anything like what was about to happen, and it was like entering an alternate dimension. The main chamber was a large circular room with a balcony that went all the way around. There was ground-level seating that also circled the center of the room. In that center, upon a dais, was a sturdy wooden table and four chairs. Those were for the target of inquiry and his or her advisers.
