*Everly's POV* - I stared at the boy who stood in front of me. He had taken a step closer which then had made my heart skip a beat. He was my mate. I knew that much. Not only that, but he was insanely attractive making my palms sweaty. I tried appearing indifferent, but the wind wasn't helping as it blew harshly, making my red hair cover my face. I tried my best to clear my face and blushed as my mate continued to stare at me. Before I could get too embarrassed, the wind suddenly halted in the air. It then blew towards me, making my hair fly behind me. I blew out a breath of relief and glanced at my mate to see him grin in amusement. I wanted to open my mouth to speak, but then again I didn't. What the hell do I say? "I'm Eddie," he suddenly said with a kind smile and I immediately melted at the sound of his voice. "Everly," I softly answered. After that he didn't speak. He continued to stare at me in a slight daze and I felt beyond nervous. I glanced behind him to see Lucy waking everyone up in excitement. I cleared my throat and pointed behind him. "So uh, is that the group? The Werewolf Commission?" I asked even though I knew the answer. Eddie didn't even turn around to see where I was pointing to as he nodded his head. "It is," he confirmed with another dazzling smile. However he suddenly frowned. "You know what the Werewolf Commission is right?" He asked in a serious tone and I quickly nodded my head. "We're going to hunt down the hunters who are hunting down us werewolves aren't we?" I asked tilting my head and Eddie slowly nodded. "That's right. But you know you could get hurt right?" he said then shook his head, his frown deepening, "-you know, maybe you and your friend should head back. Will sort this out." Immediately I shook my head furiously. "No," I said firmly, "-I'm here for a reason and I'm not leaving." I then sighed. "I get it. We're mates. But you don't have to get all protective and everything. And...the rest don't have to know we're mates right?" I asked, a little hesitate. Eddie looked at me with the same frown. However now he looked a little pissed off. "Not tell them?" He asked with an edge to his tone, "-why not?" I quickly held my hands out in front of me and nervously laughed. "Not that I don't want them to know! Just so they don't treat me differently. You know, in case they don't talk to me or something, or in case they're worried you'll-" I stopped talking and looked up at Eddie. After a moment I just let out a sigh and shrugged my shoulders. Eddie took in a deep breath before he glanced away. "If that's what you want." I gave him a wide smile in which he warmed up to. I took a step closer to him and softly nodded my head towards the others. I began walking towards them and Eddie followed closely behind. - - *Elina's POV* I slowly lifted my head up to see if Tate was asleep. I watched him for a few moments and after seeing him not move an inch, I slowly lifted the blanket off of my body. Placing one foot onto the carpet, I lifted my body up from the bed and slowly stood up. Not looking back, I looked at the ground and watched where I stepped. Risking a glance behind me, I slowly turned my head to see if Tate had moved. However, I was greeted by an empty bed. With a confused frown, I turned back around and almost screamed as Tate stood in front of me, leaning against the door frame. "Going somewhere?" he asked with his head tilted to the side. I couldn't help but jump in fright as I looked at Tate with a startled expression. "Tate!" I shouted as I held my hand to my chest, "-I thought you were sleeping!" Tate simply grinned and lifted his hand up to twirl a strand of my hair around his finger. "And I thought you were to be sleeping," he said in a leveled tone as he leaned off from the door frame and stood up straight, looking down towards me. I glanced away and shrugged my shoulders. "I've had my rest. I'm fine. We have to talk about what happened," I mumbled with a frown and Tate clenched his jaw as he placed his hands on my shoulders. "I'm sure it's nothing," Tate said in a tone that suggested he didn't even believe himself. Tate saw my dull stare and he let out another sigh. "Look. I don't want you," he placed his hand on my cheek, "-or my son," he then placed his hand on my round belly, "-to worry or stress. I'll talk about it with Dale and Tom," Tate said in a dismissive tone. I gave him a pointed look and he rolled his eyes before leaning his head outside from the door. "Dale!" Tate shouted out, "Tom!" In moments, even seconds, Dale appeared at the door in a flash and flashed us a dazzling smile. "Someone say my name?" "Last I checked your hearing was perfectly fine," Tate said sarcastically as he turned back to look at me. "Alpha," Tom said in a more respectful manner and Tate looked over at them once again. "Have you guys ever heard of," Tate paused, "-say, a sudden enhancement in Elemental abilities?" He asked as Dale and Tom glanced at each other in confusion. "Why?" Tom questioned with a frown, "-did something happen?" He asked, directing his gaze towards me. I awkwardly shrugged my shoulders. "I kind of, might of, brought a plant back to life?" I asked rather said. Dale took a further step into the room and gave me an impressed look. "So what?" he said, "-you can bring things back to life?" he inquired and I furiously shook my head. "I don't think so...I mean it was a flower and I just added water, maybe it was just...I don't know," I sighed in a stressful manner as Tate pulled me closer to his body. "-a miracle?" I weakly offered. Dale let out a snort and sarcastically nodded his head. "Of course! A miracle! C'mon Elina, you have some sort of new ability," Dale said and then took a pause as he took a few considerable steps in my direction as he looked down at my pregnant belly. "Or little Alpha baby has a talent," Dale smirked and Tate suddenly made me face him. He looked at my belly just like Dale had. Tate then looked back up at me and gave me a thoughtful look. "Of course," Tate mumbled and Dale let out a noise of triumph. "That's probably the first time you have ever agreed with me brother," Dale said, touched, as he smiled. Tate simply faced his back to his brother and looked at me with a clenched jaw as he went into deep thought. "Elina," Tom asked in a soft tone, "-would you or you know the baby, possibly bring people to life?" Tom asked and my eyes widened. "What? That's impossible!" I said with a deep frown, "-I'm guessing its with small things...things that involve water. Like that flower," I said anxiously. "If only you were pregnant back when uncle-" Dale began to say but paused when Tate's head snapped into his direction. Dale's eyes widened as he quickly shook his head at his brother, "-I mean, then maybe she could've tried to...you know bring him back? But then again it had nothing to do with water," Dale mumbled the last part more to himself and I felt a pang of sadness at the mention of Colin. "Dale..." Tom mumbled lowly in warning as he looked at Tate carefully. Dale shrugged his shoulders and opened his mouth to speak but Tate lowly growled in his throat. "Do not speak," Tate growled at Dale. "I want the two of you out now. No more further stress towards Elina," he said in a dangerous voice and the two stayed silent. I instantly felt bad and quickly decided to change the topic. "Do you think Eddie made it to his new school fine?" I asked as I placed my hands on Tate's chest. Tate held my hands that rested on his chest and kissed my forehead. "I'm sure his already settling into his new dorm. I'll give him a call later on," Tate reassured me and I gave him a warm smile. It was good to know Eddie was safe and happy.
