Jaden pov
I knew I needed to get ready, so I showered, dried off and got ready, I decided to wear my suit. I knew at the meeting of the kingdom you need to dress formally in a black suit. so I took out my dark blue suit, and my dress shoes. I put them on and brushed my hair putting it in a ponytail, then placed my crown on my head, i swear this fucker gets heavyer every year i put this damn thing on my head, i was ready i walked out of the bedroom down the stairs into my throne room. I was waiting for Alyssa to come into the room. I watched the door open and she walked inside the room. She looked beautiful, she had a sky blue dress on, her hair was braided and put in around her head like a royal bun. she had the smallest crown on her head, damn why didn't i think of that, i had many, but i always picked this fucker out. I took her hand and kissed the top of her hand. Janice finally came into the room wearing a long green gown with her hair put up in a bun. She was my sister so of course she will be joining us at the meeting of the kingdom for Alyssa. I knew she was nervous and so was I,
“Alright. Let's get this done. Everyone is out there waiting for us and they are wanting to see the new queen. Listen, Don't be discouraged okay, some might not like it that there is a new queen. But I will be right by your side okay. I will not let anyone disrespect you. she nodded. and said thank you. I opened the doors to the high balcony. We looked down and saw the kingdom they were waiting to see the new queen. and waiting for me to speak to them,
“People of the lycan kingdom. You know I have been by myself for a long time now. So I had the mating royal ball so I could find my mate. I am here to tell you that I had found my mate and your new queen.” Everyone cheered for me. some just looked on and glared, those were the women that I had bedded. They were hoping I didn't find her. That they could continue to be in my bed or hoped that I had chosen one of them to be the queen. Fat chance on that and they knew it.
‘Do you want to see your Queen?” they all cheered saying yes.I turned to Alyssa she had a nervous look on her face.
‘Its okay love. You will be alright i promise.”
Alyssa pov
We were standing on the balcony. I was listening to Jaden speak to the crowd of people that was standing below. He told them he had found his mate and their queen once again. They wanted to see me. I was so scared and nervous at the same time. I really didn't want to go out there, if they saw me and learned to love me. How will I be able to leave when the three years are up? How would he want me to leave? I still do not even know where this was going. its only been a day in a half, I only been queen for only a few minutes. I walked up next to him. i knew i needed to say something to them anything. So I said what came to my mind. I just hope they liked what I said.
“Hello Everyone. I promise to be a good Queen to everyone. I will help as much as I can. And I also want to build something. Something that I think your king will love as well. I want to build a museum. A museum for your late queen. so your king can put items of hers in there so everyone can see. I have heard that others has done this. So I would love to build one as well, that way you can still love her as much as your king did. I will start on it right away and I promise it will be built.” a lot of people cheered, some of them didn't, they gave me dirty looks and growled that I could only hear, I guess they thought i was weak but when I growled back at them. I saw fear in their eyes. good because let them try me, i will show them a whole different kind of level. I wondered if there was a gym here so I could train. I knew my fight was in a few days, and I needed to work out. they had called me last night about it, I told them I would be there that morning, it wasn't too far from here, and I would not be late, I would talk to Janice about a gym and if we had one later today, but right now we are doing this, Jaden came forward,.
“Thank you everyone for welcoming my new mate and your queen to the kingdom. The building will be built as soon as possible, we are going back inside so we can start the paperwork now, I love everyone of you.” but the look on his face said a whole lot more different than he had spoke to them,. when we went back inside and the doors were closed,
“Janice, can you please give me a few minutes with the queen. I need to have a word with her,” Janice looked from me to him, it seemed they were talking by mind link, a few minutes later she walked out the door. He grabbed my arm and led me to my room slamming the door behind him. I wondered what the problem was. I did what was supposed to have been done. before I could even say a word he growled like he once did and that bathroom, but this time I was not scared, what the hell was his problem,
‘I don’t know what your problem is. But do not ever growl at me ever again. if you remember I am doing YOU a favor, so unless you want to tell me the problem you have instead of acting like a child and growling, then get the hell out of my room.” I knew he was stunned that I spoke to him like this. But with all the dress up and s**t and him pulling me to my room growling at me, enough was enough. its only been one f*****g day and he f*****g growled at me, He finally found his voice and spoke to me in a manner that i thought he was going to throw me in the cells or something,
“You listen to me. I know we have a contract, But the contract did not state that you have a right to do anything in the honor of my dead mate. And now that you have said this s**t. Now we have to build this museum of yours. I was not ready to share anything that she had. If you know, I am still in mourning. I am not ready. I wasn’t even ready for you. but the f*****g Elders made me find you.” I was flaring with anger now. How dare he speak to me like this, I didn't care if he was in my room or not, I took off my crown and tossed it somewhere and i didnt care where it landed, i took off the dress and walked to my closest and put on a shirt and a pair of shorts, I was going to find a gym and i was going to f*****g work out this anger i had inside of me, I walked passed him he grabbed my arm, I wasnt thinking what I was doing, i turned punching him right in the face and left the room. I bumped into Janice.
“Where is your gym?
“on the second floor. Why?”
“Can you show me where it is so I won't get lost in this whole damn castle?”
‘Come on follow me,” we walked to the second floor and she said no words, she knew i was fuming, i think she was talking to Jaden because she started laughing,
“So you punched my brother, I can't say he did not deserve it. but he was shocked, how did you learn to throw a punch like that?”
“I trained all on my own since I was sixteen. the best trainers trained me until they couldn't train me anymore, so I train on my own,” she didn't ask anymore questions, but I knew she was wondering what I did when I learn how to fight, she showed me were the gym was and left me to it, I looked all around, there were weight lifting punching bags jump roping even a track where you can run, now its time to start training, in two days, i needed to be trained up and ready for a fight,
