chapter 27

Alyssa pov

The next morning I woke up ready for this fight. I had been training hard this past week with the girls. it's strange that Sapphire had stopped coming out. it seemed she knew she was in trouble, i haven't read any more of Kathrine's notebook. I've been too busy with training. I'm going to need to start reading it again when I get back from training. I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom. I did my business and got dressed. Yes, I knew I should have taken a shower but I was in a hurry. I will take one when I get home. The duffle bag was already in the car since I placed it in the trunk last night so Jaden wouldn’t ask any questions. It was time to leave. This place was an hour away so we needed to hurry outta here. When I stepped out my bedroom door Chris was waiting for me,. he nodded and said.

‘Are you ready to go, my queen? I nodded as we stepped outside, we got into my jeep and sped off. I didn't know Jaden was looking out the window at us wondering where we were going. Once we were from castle ground, Chris was talking up a storm,

“So where are we going today? you do know that the king has been asking questions he had asked me a few days ago where we really went, you know he's going to find out sooner or later what you do my queen.”

‘Chirs, will you stop calling me that? When we are not in the kingdom just call me Alyssa okay.

"Yes ma’am for now on when we are not at the kingdom I will only call you Alyssa.” and with him wanting to know, If he wants to know what we do when we leave here all he has to do is ask me. We will be going to another pack tomorrow to help put an electric fence up around their pack lands because of rogue attacks. So we are trying to help but when we are there i want to shift and see if I can see anything

When we finally got to the spot where we were supposed to be, it looked like an old building. Why do we always have to be going to old creepy buildings or barns? When we got out of the jeep to look around we saw limos and old time looking cars. i walked up to the door and the same bouncer was there that was at the barn,

“”””“Hey Kurt who the hell is in those limos, don't they know it's risky doing that?”

“They don't care. They are only here to bid on who they think is going to win. most of the time they lose the money they bidded with. Your locker room is to your left, good luck tonight.” I nodded and said thanks. So I went to my locker room. Chirs stood out the door while I got dressed in my fighting gear. before i warmed up i took a look around, i could smell sweat and blood on the floor and the benches, it was nothing new to me, i was used to it. They soon called my name over the intercom, I opened the door and Chris moved out of the way. So I could get to the mat, I walked on the mat and soon enough they called this lady named Jackie. She had short dark hair and was about 5.8 with a muscular body. I wasn't so sure I was going to win this. but i am going to do my best, the ref came into the middle and raised his hand so everyone would shut the hell up because everyone was screaming

“the rules are there are no rules, you win how you know how to win, are you ready ladies?” We yelled yes. He walked off the mat and then said, let's fight. I didn't know what this girl's problem was but she was letting her wolf out slightly, and I noticed right away, she swung hitting me right in my left cheek. I felt the sting of her punch. I knew her wolf surfaced, there are no rules to fighting. this girl was sent to really hurt me. so I said f**k it i let my wolf Mariah serface enough to grow more streangth, she said about time, she was on this like white on rice. when she was about to hit me again i blocked it and uppercutted her hard under the jaw that made her head go back with a hard force, she smirked swung and kicked she missed with the punch but kicked me right in the leg almost knocking me down, Oh so she wanted to play it like that alright. So I started with my kicks. I flipped over her then kicked her in the middle of the back. she stumbled forward not falling, i turned and did a roundhouse kick right in her head. she growled so I flipped turned and did another roundhouse kick and kicked her right in the face, she finally went down. she tried getting back up. but I flipped and landed with my knee on her back. i heard her back bone break in half, she screamed out in pain and was unable to get back up. The Ref came back up on the mat and raised my hand and said,. IN THE WINNER IS ALYSSA. Go grab your paperwork and your money. When I was leaving the bouncer told me to hurry up and leave the guys in the limo was a little pissed, i nodded got my bag out of the locker room, got the paperwork and got my money, i didn't bother on changing, we hurried and left, we sped down the road Chris was driving while i changed my clothes. I kept looking back and no one was following us. We had a huge head start. i looked into the mirror and there was no bruises,

“We heal fast when you let me on the surface, we need to go on more runs Alyssa, so we can get stronger and I can be with my mate as well.”

‘Don’t worry Mariah, we will be shifting tomorrow when we get to the other pack. We are going to help them.”

Good. Because we need to go on runs more often. When we got back home I was fully healed, no fading bruising, no cuts, I was healed. Jaden was there just like last time hugging me telling me he had missed me, he took my hand and led me up to my room. told me he would be back shortly, i wanted to read the book that i needed to look at. But i was worried that he might see Sapphire's name in it and go crazy. What should I do now? I took off my dirty clothes and got into the big swimming pool. I stepped on the button and the water started coming down. I stood under the hot water and let it run down my back. It was so comfortable, I knew He was going to be back any time now. He's probably drilling Chris on what we did today. We weren't that long, only a few hours, but i felt exhausted, i was done showering, I dried off and got dressed. I went back into my room and I saw a tray of food on my bed with a letter. strangely, I was hoping he would come back inside the room. I went over to read the note,

‘Hello my love,

Enjoy your food and some time alone, we will be together all day tomorrow. relax and tomorrow will come soon enough,

Well, that was short and sweet, i ate my grilled cheese and tomato soup that really hit the spot, i grabbed the book that was under my pillow and started to read it again. i read her thoughts in this book like they were mine. something caught my attention really fast.

I started to read it,

‘Today. I heard Sapphire telling one of the guards that I was ill and that I saw things that weren't there. She is really troubling to say the least, she has been trying to get my crown since day one. I knew Jaden and Sapphire were a thing before I came around. He had told me this. I know she is out for revenge. But I never told Jaden any of these things, I never told him to leave her for me. It was him that came to me and we just fell in love by spending time together. I know she has been leaving the castle and not coming back for hours. What is that girl planning, i have found bugs that she had planted in our room and in Jaden's office. I need to find a way to stop her or die trying.

I closed the book and hid it. What I read gave me something to think about. Was Sapphire the reason why Jadens mate died, what the hell is going on with that girl? I needed to rest for tomorrow. I cuddled up with my pillow in my arms, I turned the light out and fell asleep. I needed to find out what's going on fast. because if I don’t I have a feeling that the rogue king will be coming again. This time. he will be f*****g with the wrong b***h.
