Chapter 6
Garrett spent most of the day buried in work, trying not to dwell on what was to come tonight. Or Lillian Guthrie. He was failing miserably on the latter. She had somehow gotten under his skin in the short time they had known each other. He had never met anyone like her before. She was strong, assertive, lithe, and sexy as all hell. His brain stopped working around her. All he could think about was bending her over the nearest surface and burying himself deep inside her just to end this constant fire in his balls.
He had made an ass out of himself and knew he had blown his chance. Especially after Karla told him Lillian wouldn’t be riding with him. He tried hiding his disappointment, but failed at that, too. He had to make it up to her, but he didn’t know how.
