Chapter 5 She felt like a deer in headlights. That was such a loaded question. She should never have agreed to dinner. She thought she could do it. She thought she could think of this as some kind of business dinner, but she couldn’t. All she could focus on was how hot Garrett was and mentally stripping him out of his stuffy business suit. When he asked her about taking care of herself, she felt a familiar wall come up. She didn’t talk about her past with anyone. Period. Her best friend, Erin, didn’t even know about it.
