The little girl, Ellisiana Delaire walked to her father, Thomas Edgar Delaire II watched the body of her mother lying on the bed. ''Will Mama get well soon?'' Asked Ellise looking at her father.
Then, Edgar kneels to his daughter and wiped off the tears falling his cheeks and looking at her daughter with a faded smile.
''Ellise, listen to me. Wherever happen to Mama, be strong. You don't have to be afraid because I'm still here with you.'' Said her father.
''So, Mama will die?"
Little Ellise started to cry until Edgar hugged her tightly. Ellise let go of her father's hug and running away from the room without looking back.
''Ellise!'' Shouts Edgar.
Ellise runs to the garden until fall on the ground with her cries.
''Mama will leave me... Mama will die...'' cried Ellise out loud.
Then, her butler Sophie Scars came to Ellise and hug her from her back ''My dear, it’s alright,'' said her maid persuaded her while she wiped the tears on Ellise's cheek.
''I don't want Mama to die...'' said Ellise hugging Sophie tightly. She just still quiet and hugging back Ellise, she doesn’t have any idea how to persuade her anymore. Until fir a while, she brought Ellise in her arms to a bedroom.
After the funeral was held from past weeks ago, Evelyn Delaire's funeral was held in a chapel near their lives. Only their friends were invited. The whole place was decorated in white flowers and the picture of Evelyn were placed around the casket.
Little Ellise hasn't looked at her mother's dead body once after receiving the terrible news. She didn't think that she would be able to. After her maid has smoothing her black dress, little Ellise has joined during the process of her mother's funeral. Edgar was stood near the casket and looking at Ellise, walked up to her before giving a small hug.
''Ellise, don't you want to look at your mother for the last time... before she's buried?'' Asked Edgar and Elsa nods her head. Edgar carried Ellise to the casket and look into it, she looked at her mother's eyes closed and with long black hair and pale skin as it lost her color. ''Mama...'' Ellise hugged her father's neck, and Edgar soothing her daughter's hair. ''It's going to be alright... You still have me.'' Edgar leaned in to whisper to Ellise and kissed on her forehead. Ellise has looked back to her mother's body when her father carried her away from the casket. She was hoping that her mother is still alive. Nothing, but saw her mother was rest in peace.
