Chapter 10

"What are you doing?" asked Mikeala. "The right thing, I hope, I'm not gonna fight you, but you're going to have to fight yourself." said Helsing. "Really? is that the best you got?" asked Mikeala.

"Listen to me Mikeala, you're not a monster, alright? you don't have to be one, you can be better." said Helsing. "You have no idea what I am." said Mikeala.

"Angry, confused, and very much tempted to see blood, yeah, I get that, I've been in a similar place myself and trust me, its not gonna end well enough for you." said Helsing.

"You're not a vampire." said Mikeala. "No love, I am something worse, Klaus raised you to be a monster, you've redeemed yourself and became something better than that." said Helsing. "No, I became something worse." said Mikeala.

"Your definition of worse is misunderstood, the point what I am trying to make is simple, this is what Klaus trained you to be, you once told that Klaus referred to you as the chaotic sister that hungers for blood, he ought to be, don't be that, put down that guy and prove he's bloody wrong about you." said Helsing to which Mikeala waits by, awaiting for a bit on what she could do after having broken the neck of the reporter, but words of Helsing prove of meaning to him as to which she finally let's go of him and sprints directly towards Helsing to which Helsing thought she would attack, but her surprise move of what turned out to be a hug completely changed his perspective as he remains still while she bursts into tears, holding Helsing tightly.

"I am scared.. I.. I didn't know what I was doing..." cried Mikeala while Helsing comforts her soothingly.

Meanwhile, back in war world, Klaus awakens in the crash site, only to see he is left alone with Ayame no where to be found.

After taking a minute to recollect himself, he calls out to Ayame across various directions, but sight of her appearance is nowhere to be seen as to which Klaus starts looking around the wasteland for a while, until he finds himself in approach of a gigantic hornet nest variant.

"Is that a.." continued Klaus in what he's about to say until the nest breaks, releasing down a wave of strange insects that approach into the skies and begin swarming throughout him, tearing down his skin slowly.

"Ugh... fuk!" shouted Klaus, raging onto his anger as he turns feral and tries to exterminate as much as he can while being grievously injured, until one of the insects blind him off, leaving him to get grabbed by something large which pulls him towards a unknown direction as he struggles to release control from the figure as it sinks him into water as to which the insects stop following him within and depart away while Klaus feels relieved and let's go of the figures hold while it continues holding him and swims across the water.

Moments pass as Klaus regains his eyes after being healed, but finds himself shocked to see the figure pulled him under was a gigantic half man, half wolf which Klaus finds shocked and scary at first as he starts to fight it to release him, but soon even the wolf releases him and departs away above as to which Klaus goes after it as fast as he can.

Soon, he reaches the land faster than the wolf, thanks to his sprint, and just as the wolf comes out, Klaus grapples it from the back and attempts to slam it downward which he executes successfully.

"What kind of a sick monster are you?" asked Klaus who goes forth to lunge, but with a simple sight the werewolf lands towards him, with eyes he is familiar of, Klaus immediately withdraws his attack and pauses at that very moment while the wolf whimpers and mourns in pain.

"A.. Ayame?" asked Klaus to which the werewolf doesn't respond, but still finds herself terribly injured with a sprain on her leg, worsened by the attack Klaus gave her.

"I.. I am.. you're.. what are you?" asked Klaus taking a minute to process this revelation, soon, he realizes what he did was a mistake as she was only trying to help him from the insects, to which Klaus approaches her slowly, citing her he wouldn't cause any harm until he bites out his own hand and offers her his blood.

"Drink it, you will feel better." said Klaus to which Ayame stands null in her wolf form. As Klaus then reaches forward, inclining once again he does not intend to harm her, Ayame then opens her mouth slightly to which Klaus drops drips of his blood, then returns back to his original position as Ayame, as predicted starts healing.

"That's it, you're right, you are healing.." said Klaus taking a minute, observing her as she then calms then slowly starts to turn back into the form of a human. "You're.. back.. to yourself." said Klaus looking at Ayame who looks around, then quickly rushes back into the water, covering herself within.

"Hey wait! don't go, Ayame!" shouted Klaus.

"I'm not going.. you.. when you look at me, I feel.. disturbed." said Ayame. "You wanted to cover yourself from my eyes.. it is fine.. I can understand." said Klaus. "How? you're not like me." said Ayame.

"No, I am not, I am something worse." said Klaus when suddenly a sinister voice was heard from the forest as he turns around. "What.. what is that?' asked Ayame.

"Stay inside, I can handle this." said Klaus as he stands ready while he hears sounds of something sinister approaching, revealed to be a arch parademon, wielding a dual mace as he angrily looks at the two of them.

"What are you waiting for? come on." said Klaus raging onto his anger as his eyes turn red while the parademon rages onto him with his mace drawn, attempting to grain in two blows which Klaus dodges, but Klaus's counter attack of spearing it down proved worthless as the parademon managed to hold back and grab hold of Klaus as it slams him down, dealing a deathly blow.

"Klaus!" shouted Ayame who tries to turn back into her werewolf form, but was unable to for some reasons in which she then tries to step aboard from the water to help him, but aborts when Klaus takes one of the maces the parademon dropped which he throws off into the face of the parademon, then using it, he grapples hold of the demon and sinks his fangs onto its neck, gaining the strength of its blood which super charges him and starts tearing it part repeatedly using his strength until the parademon lies butchered as Klaus completely devours it from the inside out and drops down to rest.

"I... I live..." said Klaus, breathing heavily while Ayame steps back through the water and goes off to disappear until Klaus notices and shouts. "Wait! where are you going?" asked Klaus as she turns back.

"Follow me, will show you." said Ayame until Klaus interrupts. "No, not this time, I think I followed you enough." said Klaus. "What!" asked Ayame.

"You brought me here to show me something, while I was nearly killed, you stood there, doing nothing." said Klaus. "I.. I am sorry, I couldn't turn into my.. other form, I couldn't walk out because of it." said Ayame.

"Is that so? then may I ask, why did you turn one in the first place? when I woke up, you were nowhere to be found." said Klaus.

"I.. I went to find help, you were injured." said Ayame. "Not any longer, aren't I? the only reason why I allowed myself to follow you, was because it was better than being drained on a planet full of enemies, which is where we are now." said Klaus.

"I.. only wanted to show you something." said Ayame. "You already did show me something, and guess what, I didn't like it, just leave, go and never come back, I'll find my own way out of here." said Klaus. "Klaus... I.." said Ayame before getting interrupted by Klaus.

"Just go! leave away from my sight!" shouted Klaus to which Ayame stands in a minute to see whether he would change his response, but seeing as he didn't, she swims away into the ocean, leaving Klaus to fend for himself in this desolate wasteland.

Meanwhile, in general hospital, Rebecca awakens from her sedation only to find herself in midst of a treatment and beside a complete stranger.

"Hey.. take it easy.. you're fine... you're safe." said the stranger, revealed to be Lucien in which Rebecca gazes upon his clan tattoo, the same symbol on the neck of her kidnapper, in which she finds herself afraid as she starts to scream.

"Woah, hey! I am not here to hurt you, I swear, I brought you here, it's a long story." said Lucien as suddenly nurses start coming into the room in order to restrain the patient.

"Sire, I'm gonna need you to leave right now." said a nurse who pulls Lucien back from her as the try to calm her down.

"But I didn't do anything, I swear, I was only trying to.." said Lucien before getting interrupted by the nurse.

"We understand that sire, but she didn't, please leave, we will take care of this." said the nurse to which Lucien takes a minute to process, then departs away with a sprint as Rebecca then calms down after the nurses soothes her.

Meanwhile, Lucien who arrives down at the cafeteria, finds at a window to see reporters and civilians have gathered across the entrance to hear petition from the surviving police officer they managed to rescue.

After taking in a minute to observe all this, Officer Cami, who had been sitting in the same cafeteria earlier then starts to approach him, seeing as he is distressed.
