Chapter 11

"Your highness?" asked Officer Cami to which Lucien turns. "Who are you?" asked Lucien. "I.. am .. Officer Camilia, a dear friend of mine is in hospital, one who you brought in." said Officer Cami.

"You're friend of Detective Rebecca?" asked Lucien. "Becca, we call her, but yeah, so how is she doing?" asked Officer Cami. "Health seems to be in normal, she is awake, you can ask the doctors." said Lucien.

"She's awake? oh my god, this is.. really good news, but.. you're.. upset, why?" asked Officer Cami.

"Nothing.. I've got a lot on my mind, the doctors will let you see her soon, report to Mikeala when she is stable." said Lucien as he begins to depart. "Wait.." said Officer Cami to which Lucien stops. "Thank you.. you saved my friend, she's all I got, and without her, I can't imagine living a life." said Officer Cami.

"You're gonna have to, unless she becomes a vampire herself, take good care of her." said Lucien who proceeds to depart away while Officer Cami remains hesitant on him departing and what could have happened to make a royal like him upset.

Meanwhile, on the Royal Bank, south of the Switzer Tower, a group of armed forces start gathering up from sections of vans with masks on, while another group comes huddling in with masks as well, but doesn't remain armed or equipped with body armour while in center, a figure watches over them all as he steps out of the shadows.

"My friends, my loyalists, the day is here, the reckoning we could all hope for, for too long, we let these, so called protectors of the universe guide us in our world, they are not our saviours, they are monsters, they kill, r**e, torture and they call it love, they spawned many of ourselves into their puppets, it changes today, all of it changes from this day onward, today, here you stand, seeking to reclaim our bright right as rulers of this world, which we will, by burning life's greatest lies, that." said the masked figure above all, pointing out to the bank as his followers cheer in gracious support until he clenches his fist in which the power shuts down, giving the armed forces the opportunity to start pouring into the bank with guns drawn as the figure takes off his mask, revealed to be the very person that kidnapped Rebecca and got away with it.

Meanwhile, Darren who had been walking in hundreds of miles in desert, finally managed to set his sights on a small settlement which at distances resides, but with armed military forces with no badges or flags.

"Who the hell are these clowns? what could they be doing in here?" thought Darren who starts walking towards the base in a desperate need of help. As he reaches closer, soon trucks from side too merge in darkness to which Darren yells out to carry him forward as well.

"Hey you! stop! I'm going that way too!" shouted Darren despite his tiresome, but things take a sudden turn of events when the very soldiers that spot down Darren come out with their guns drawn firing at him instead of helping him, to which Darren finds himself shocked as he immediately runs to cover himself.

"Damnit! what in the world!" shouted Darren crawling down to cover since bullets in the state he is in, might be enough to kill him, or so he thought.

"I just want to talk.. I just want to.. arghh, screw it!" shouted Darren, letting his monstrous side enraged after getting shot by the people several times in which Darren lunges off vigilantly like a raged out beast.

"You want the monster out! you got it!" shouted Darren who leaps onboard into the vehicle as soon as it comes down to ram him, in which he climbs onward and shatters down the window despite being shot by bullets until guns run out of ammo.

"It ends, now!" shouted Darren who leaps into the vehicle, tearing down every other individual that try to fight him.

Spotting this down by a binoculars, the guard on the settlement gate immediately goes to warn his people by running towards the bell while Darren ultimately vanquishes every single one of them, then looks onboard towards the settlement in rage.

As soon as he starts running towards the settlement like a wild beast, the man who tried to reach the alarm nearly reaches the bell to warn the others, but before he could even ring, Darren leaps onto the walls of the settlement and goes out on a fiery rage, tearing down enemies over lusting himself in their blood which serves as his only motive after anger.

"Hala, Hala Hala!" shouted the man who rang down the bell, trying to warn the entire settlement, but even despite that, Darren who was fighting the soldiers who stood in fight, soon turns his rage onto the civilians on board, who had just come down of their den over the alarm sound.

"Blood! Blood! Blood!" shouted Darren repeatedly who storms into the crowd, killing innocent men, women and children onto whom he feels nothing but hunger for.

Feeling confused and guilty about what he led his people into, the man takes out his gun and marches forward to fire at him while many soldiers from within the stronghold of the settlement join him.

But amongst the people running in panic as the monster is unleashed, the soldiers are left clueless on where he could be hiding, until they realise, one by one, their number of troops are being thinned mysteriously.

Before the man could notice half of his men are missing, his attention is diverted as the people start fleeing towards the exit of the settlement despite his insistence not to.

Having no other choice, the soldier takes out his gun and fires down at the sky in rage as he yells at his fellow soldiers to follow, but just as he reaches, he finds out the only one left is him, and all the rest alive are no one but civilans who crouched down over the shot as they remained paused.

The man yells out and wonders confusingly until Darren merges from the crowd and grapples onto him, ripping away his head before he could fire in which the civilans re start their panic and begin their run for their life.

Meanwhile, at the Global Unit Sanctum where Mikeala and Helsing stepped out, who are currently discussing over her actions near the sanctuary entrance as well as the current state of the kidnappings.

"As I already mentioned before, those reporters were only taught what needed to be done, they were criticizing me with questions, I had to show response." said Mikeala.

"By killing them? you even threw one of their bodies at the crowd, the reporters are now shook with fear over the motives of the Azriel Family, whether they came to doom us all, or save us." said a official.

"For godsake, it was just one individual okay? Just wrap it up, saying they tried to engage her or something, she fought back over self defense, that sorts it out, isn't that right?" asked Helsing.

"Maybe in the 19th century, now we have videos and live streams, detailing on what happened and at which time it happened, there is no point in lying now, they already know." said another official.

"Who cares if they know? you think they're gonna stand against me? my family is all they've got, if we are gone, the vampires will turn on the humans, it will be a bloodbath." said Mikeala.

"Which is exactly what's going to happen if you don't apologise over your actions, otherwise every other vampire out there is gonna think they can do whatever they want with a human." said a official.

"Mind your freaking tongue, alright? she did a mistake, we all did, right now, a fight between us is only gonna strengthened these damm idiots who kidnapped the royal family, we need to.." continued Helsing until one of the officials gets a whisper by his hear which Mikeala hears, then sprints forward to turn on the television where they witness the burning of the Royal Bank by cultists and thieves banded together.

"My god." said a official, shocked by this display until one of them starts clapping loudly as everyone turns towards him."Way to go! they burnt the bank, all thanks to you!" shouted the official towards Mikeala before getting interrupted by Helsing.

"She didn't do anything." said Helsing.

"She motivated it, she lit a fuse, and it burnt up, it won't stop in here, the crowds, massacres, the Azriel, I've seen it before, it ends, with the blood of a entire planet under one ruler, you." said the official pointing out to Mikeala.

"I am not Klaus to go kill an entire planet full of people, I cause this mess, I will fix it!" shouted Mikeala. "How exactly? you're gonna apologize? because from the way I see it, it won't work, they aren't going to listen to anyone, least of all, you!" continued shouting the official as Mikeala steps out of the cabinet and storms away while Helsing goes after her.

"Mikeala wait!" shouted Helsing running after her to which she stops at a certain point, then returns back to him. "Anything you say or do, isn't going to make me change my decision, either you say your goodbyes, or get hell out of here." said Mikeala.

"I'm doing neither, come on, let's go " said Helsing who takes the lead while Mikeala stands confused. "You're coming with me?" asked Mikeala.

"You said it yourself, nothing I can do, is gonna make me stop you, at least let me help you, that way I'll be able to get you back in one piece if all things fall apart." said Helsing as Mikeala follows.

"Woah.. I.. I don't know what to say." said Mikeala. "You can say thank you." replied Helsing. "Right.. thank you, let's end this." said Mikeala.
