"What do you mean attacked? we can't be attacked.. there's nothing but endless voids for months, and you told me our ship is initiated with camouflage mode." said Klaus.
"I am just as much as confused as you are, sire, but I'm afraid they've managed to detect us either way." said Eva when suddenly a blast towards the ship landed them both off course within as the ship starts riling down, losing its sense of gravity as things as well as themselves start floating.
"Damnit!" shouted Klaus. "Sire, you need to get to the bridge, now!" said Eva and not a minute sooner, Klaus goes dashing into the anti gravity field, roaming across the space with his sprint in a way he's able to move forward much faster than others, despite its difficulty.
While going on so, he hears several of the ships technicians as well as himself in distress, trying their best to hold off, but rather so, with every hit they are receiving, it seems impossible for the ship to hold on, until eventually, a crackle within the ship starts spreading when a massive blast was hit towards the corner just as Klaus reached the bridge where his thralls are holding off the best they can.
"We've been hit, now with a massive one!" said a deck coordinator. "What the hell is going on here?" asked Klaus, infuriating with rage over what just happened while the entire crew turns over to him with complete confusion. "Sire, you are here, how did you?" asked Jason, the captain of the ship, to which Klaus interrupts. "I asked u a bloody damm question first!" shouted Klaus.
"Apologies, your majesty.. the enemy, they blacked out our power and weapons, we don't have shield, either can we hit, only thing we can work out so far is the..." said Jason before getting interrupted by Klaus yet again. "Navigate the trajectory towards the forth block, install backup generators in engine 5, optimize cells to maximum power so we can come crashing into them!" shouted Klaus.
"On it." said a deck coordinator as other get to work while Jason stands shocked by his reply. "But your majesty, are you asking us to crash into them? what about the ship?" asked Jason. "What about it? does it value more than our lives? I may be a original vampire, but none of you are one, you cannot survive a open breach into space." said Klaus.
"I can understand that sire, but if we crash into them, we will lose.." said Jason before getting interrupted by Klaus. "Damnit Jason, do what I say! if this ship goes we'll build another!" said Klaus to which Jason nods and gets to work along with the rest of the ship while Klaus sprints off to his seat, and inserts himself in, in which he opens a transmission towards their attacker.
"This is the Reaper, stand down your attacks now! I am Klaus Azirel, lord of the Necrosis, you will lay down your weapons right now, or you will face the wrath of my entire faction!" shouted Klaus to which the crier of anger and frustration caused the attacker to pause down their ship for a moment, until eventually it starts firing back, but just when it could do so, their ship turns into backup power, causing all systems to come online, as well as their shields.
"We did it sir! backup power is functioning, the weapon systems aren't functioning still, but we can warp ourselves out of here." said Jason. "No! I will not run from some third standard rookies!" said Klaus. "But sire.. we can come back.." said Jason as Klaus interrupts.
"They've would have been already gone, forget retreating, we will do as I commanded, this is an open act of war." said Klaus. "As you wish, my lord." said Jason whom with a difficult tone, decides to proceed as what Klaus ordered, despite having second thoughts about it while Klaus grins at the mere thought of having the pleasure, facing his enemies face to face.
Meanwhile, back in Kleham, where Rebecca had just finished her shift, and was seen heading back home after bidding goodbyes to her fellow friend. As she departs, sounds of glistening whispers surround the streets with pleasures and blood roaming all over the place as she steps into the city side, which never sleeps.
"Party, party, party, where does it even end?" a thought rises towards Rebecca as she oversees the streets while waiting in traffic. Vampires, humans, and even halflings are seen enjoying themselves publicly, though it was once considered as utter disgust, now it has seen as amusement by the people of Kleham. Just as the traffic light hits green, Rebecca's thought diverts back into reality as she drives forth and takes a left turn while other vehicles proceed straight ahead, except for one.
"Well, now that's over, let's put on some real music." said Rebecca switching in her mixtape within her car while having no idea she is being tailed by a unknown combatant from distance.
As she moves closer and closer towards the empty plains of the forest side, where her home resides, she soon starts to sense the feel she's being watched, by whom she could not see. Regardless, the music and the calm streets rejects that possibility and continues her journey into her home while the stalker stops in half way, viewing from distance of what's about to happen soon.
"Great, Mary again." said Rebecca as she looks to her phone and answers while getting ready to depart from her car. "Sup?" said Rebecca. "Rebecca, where the hell are you? I've been trying to reach you for hours!" shouted Mary, the captain of her station.
"For hours? I've got only one call" asked Rebecca. "I didn't mean the direct line, switch on your WiFi, why are you keeping it turned off?" asked Mary. "Because it drains my battery, and I am tired, I did all as you asked, installed all security protocols, what else do you want?" asked Rebecca. "Wait, didn't you hear?" asked Mary. "Hear what?" asked Rebecca.
"Are you kidding me? you had no idea, not even a single clue about it?" asked Mary. "No, I don't, spill the beans." said Rebecca. "The guests, they've been kidnapped, they're holding a ransom bargain on live TV." said Mary. "What? no way! how did they get kidnapped?" asked Rebecca.
"How am I supposed to know? I'm not there, I've only known about it once I got the call, thought all of you were taken out or something." said Mary. "Mary, there is no way..." said Rebecca until she finds herself shocked when suddenly a sinister sound takes her breath away as someone leaps out from the back of the car while making a huge noise, drawing her complete attention away.
"Rebecca, are you there?" asked Mary. "Give me a min.... Arghhh!" screamed Rebecca in groaning pain as a invisible force pulls her hair from the back with utmost brutal force and slams her across the floor several times while she continues screaming until she drops out of conscience in which this unseen force takes her body into the car and shuts it tight and drives away while the phone she was answering too was still in call.
"Hello? Rebecca! Rebecca are you there! Answer me!" shouted Mary but to no avail as the car departs away calmly just as usual while her blood drips through the streets.
Meanwhile, back in the deck, where swarms of police crowd are flooding across the streets and skies, looking for the one missing ships, but to no avail, while from the Sanctuary, Mikeala, and her group of court vampires are seen communicating with the kidnappers just as Helsing comes bursting in to which her forces draw their weapons and fangs in rage to Helsing's shock.
"Woah! calm down boys and girls, I'm not here to party." said Helsing, waving his surrender in a comedic way. "Stand down, he's a friend." said Mikeala to which the forces lay down their arms while Helsing approaches forth.
"Could someone please tell me what the bloody hell is going on here?" asked Helsing. "Not your concern Helsing, I suggest leaving before one of my brothers catch your scent and move onto you." said Mikeala.
"Your brothers are... a little busy from what I take it." said Helsing. "What does that mean?" asked Mikeala when she is broadly interrupted when one of her handler speaks. "Your highness, they are opening up another transmission, there is no way to disrupt from live telecast, what we should do?" asked Mikeala.
"Forget it, patch them through, let's see what they have to say this time." said Mikeala. "Right, since this is none of my business, I'll leave." said Helsing until Mikeala sighs and shouts wait to which both the handler and Helsing stops.
"Help me, I can't do this alone, I need them both alive." said Mikeala to which Helsing smiles as he turns back and delights upon the thought of asked nicely by her. "Since you asked nicely, why not?" asked Helsing, tauntingly as he joins in while Mikeala signals him to open up the transmission, only to find three robed cultists, with no symbols, are standing behind one of the kidnapped representative who had been beaten and tortured cruelly while being strapped to the chair by ropes.
"Greetings, Mikeala, the time duration for.. wait, who is this?" asked one of the kidnapper looking at Helsing while he waves with a sarcastic smile. "Just a friendly bloke, don't mind me, go on, what are your demands?" asked Helsing.
"Our demands are simple, we advise that you release Father Donald Frank Callahan with a sum of eight million dollars and we shall let your guests go." said the kidnapper in which Helsing smiles.
"Ah, I see, so that's what this is about." said Helsing. "Frank Callahan is detained and arrested under safe guards of the Ancient code, he is a danger to us, as well as himself, we cannot negotiate his release, period." said Mikeala.
