Chapter 01

Five years before the events of the first war, the city of both Kleham and the Undercity are stable rather than the ones they are about to be.

The city of Kleham, as always in its grandest privileges, with the stories of werewolves and wars are regarded as myth while within the Undercity, poverty and scarcity remains the same while few third of the crowds are filled with humans and lower caste vampires alike.

But deep within the alleyways on the local town bar, where a man rushes down from the inn, revealed to be a vampire as his fangs emerge with his eyes red, soon starts to sprint like his life is on the line.

As he continues down his chase, he comes across various obstacles, all of which he tears apart, or avoids until he loses sight of his predator, revealed to be none other than Lucien himself who emerges right in front of them as he gets knocked by.

"Lucien! no.." said the person as he shivers in fear. "Well hello there, didn't your mother teach your proper manners? to leave without saying hi to old friends is a sign of disrespect." said Lucien teasingly as he starts sprinting away to which Lucien sighs and runs after him, in which he tackles and sprains his ankle as he groans in pain.

"Shut up now! you're in no pain, compared of what I'm about to do to you." said Lucien. "Master Lucien, please... let me go, I had nothing to do with it, it was all your brother, he demanded if I didn't give what he wanted, he'll murder my family and make me watch." cried the person under the feet of Lucien.

"Rather dramatic, isn't he, my brother, fancies himself a noble, and yet down to such brutality." said Lucien as he kicks him down a massive blow, with his strength of vampric nature. And before he could get up, Lucien throws down a nearby nod directly at his stomach which plunges into as he screams so loud, it is heard from half the block.

"Shut up, will you?" asked Lucien as he rushes out to finish him off, but gets himself pushed away by a unseen force, soon revealed to be his brother himself, Darren. "Ahh, there he is, my thick headed brother himself." said Lucien as he gets up from the fall while Darren goes onward to free the vampire from the rod and sets him to safety.

"Your anger for stealing the money is with me, leave him out of this." said Darren. "I wish I could, dear brother, but I can't, did you forget the vows, until you get the planet of your own to run with, we are supposed to play nice with each other." said Lucien. "How nice it is to know, that you do hold a small amount of intelligence in that thick head of yours." said Darren.

"It's not intelligence, Darren, it's sense, I can't kill you, but I'll kill anyone who associates with you, perhaps that girl you meet down by the bar, what was her name? Andrea?" asked Lucien to which Darren lunges off at him, hitting him multiple times with the rod and slams him down while breaking the rod into two.

"You will not lay a finger on her, or anyone, if I even catch a scent of your disgusting scent by her, I'll rip you out from the insides myself." said Darren. "Now you've just done it." said Lucien who enrages with his glowing red eyes and fangs and lunges back to fight at Darren.

But suddenly as they approach closer, they are knocked out unconscious when a hidden shooter from afar fires down his Vampire EMP launcher at them at the correct time which knocks them both down unconsciously as he turns on his comm.

"This is Helsing, I took them down." said the shooter. "Good job, Helsing, I'll have the funds deposited immediately as soon as you have a word with my sister." said a voice.

"What? she's here too? I can't take her out, she's too powerful for a EMP blast." said Helsing. "When I said word, I meant actual word, not killing her, get to it." said the voice as it ends transmission while Helsing removes his mask and pounds on the wall in frustration.

Meanwhile, further in the decks of Kleham, two police officers, including Rebekah herself, are awaiting by the deck till their special guests arrive. "It's been two hours, I can't stand here doing nothing, till this space b***h arrives." said Officer Cami.

"Shut up, what have you got to complain, you're a immortal." said Rebekah. "Exactly, that's what I keep saying, I've been working as a cop for 124 years Bekah, 124 years! still I haven't landed myself landed in a promotion, it's taking forever." said Officer Cami.

"So?" asked Rebekah.

"So, if I'm wasting time, playing bodyguard for some luxury ass, when will I get the time to impress the boss and get myself in a promotion?" asked Officer Cami. "You will get one, Cami, I promise, don't sweat much about it." said Rebekah.

"Easy for you to say, since you're human, all you gotta do is work like what? two years, even with three zots, you'll end up as Captain in no time." said Officer Cami.

"That is not true, I maybe a human, but I'm also a weak one, and a bodybag.. Everywhere I go, people see me like this, walking food, and playing cop while smelling like one isn't easily easy either." said Rebekah.

"Well, you do smell pretty sweet to me." said Officer Cami. "Is that so?" asked Rebekah. "So, why don't you do it then? become one if you're finding it difficult to remain as human?" asked Officer Cami. "It's.. complicated." said Rebekah. "Really? is it about starting a family?" asked Officer Cami. "No." said Rebekah.

"Okay, I just said, but if you ask me, I'll do myself to prepare a cure if I need to land on the promotion next year." said Officer Cami to which Rebekah smiles. "Keep that attitude up, and it will take a century to land someone like you with a promotion." said a voice to which they turn, only to see that it is Mikaela, Alive as a vampire again..

"Your.. highness, I am so sorry, I didn't mean to.." said officer Cami before getting interrupted by Mikaela. "Shut up, Detective Becca, I assume everything is going on well?" asked Mikaela. "It is, your highness, all safeguards had been installed, snipers, cops, literally a whole squad is awaiting in hidden shadows in case of a danger." said Rebekah.

"Good then, I suggest you keep it that way, quietly before unintended consequences arrives." said Mikaela. "Of course, your highness, anything for you." said Rebekah. "Appreciated, if that's all, I will be taking my leave, good luck." said Mikaela as she sprints off into the shadows.

"Dude, that was so close." said Officer Cami. "It is, you've could have been killed, I told you to keep your mouth shut!" yelled Rebekah. "Okay, okay, calm down, but seriously, why didn't she... you know, chop my head off?" asked Officer Cami.

"Do you want her to?" asked Rebekah.

"No, Detective Becca, I will be keeping my mouth quiet and getting back to work." said Officer Cami. "Good." replied Rebekah as she smiles.

Meanwhile Lucien and Darren find holographic versions of themselves trapped inside a virtual simulation of a nineties based Mansion in daylight. "Where the hell are we?" asked Lucien. "I don't know." said Darren.

"You got that soon, after all, didn't the two of you build it together?" asked another creepy voice coming from behind, revealed to be the holographic version of their elder brother of them, Klaus. "Klaus, what is the meaning of this?" asked Darren. "There isn't any simple meaning for a pleasantry visit, Darren, I merely wanted to see you both, and I did, that's all." said Klaus.

"Really? so the time we broke your vow and decided to go ahead on, was just a coincidence that you came popping by?" asked Lucien.

"You two were having a fight? how shocking, then it is good timing I've brought you here, for family bonding then." said Klaus. "Cut the s**t, Klaus you were spying on us, weren't you? how many times do I have to tell you.." said Darren only to get interrupted when the simulation disrupts with a alert tone.

"What now?" asked Lucien.

"Seems a small disturbance, I'll be back." said Klaus as he vanishes away while Darren yells at him repeatedly to wait. "Stop! Klaus, how do we get out? Klaus? Nik?" asked Darren only to get no response from him as he no longer remains. "Something funny?" asked Darren towards Lucien as he smiles. "You don't get it, do you, brother? we've been grounded, until we come onto terms, Nik's just gonna make us sit in here, given how many years will that take." said Lucien.

Meanwhile, Klaus becomes awaken from his pod, only to find his entire spaceship in red alert while Eva is handling through the mainframe. "What is going on?" asked Klaus. "We are being attacked, your highness, by whom we do not know." said Eva.
