Time seemed to pass quickly. Soon the weekend was upon them, and Alex was preparing herself to come face to face with her father. She and Rowan entered the pack house, and stopped at Lucas' study.
She took a breath and rolled her shoulders, as if readying herself for battle.
Rowan looked at her "You got this." He smiled and knocked.
"Come in." Lucas answered.
