The bell rings once more, indicating they are going to be late. It is only with the shrill sound that Griffin reluctantly releases Wren from his embrace. Nothing can be seen, yet he has dragged her into an empty room and only the two of them are going to be late. As much as he desperately wants to keep holding her, he has a scrap of his sensibility remaining. He doesn't want her first day back at Wolfgrove to be her last and for that he needs to take a step back. "We should go" Wren nods, offering him a beautiful smile which makes his heart flutter in his chest. He takes a deep breath in as he waits for her to walk out, following soon after.
