Chapter Six

AFTER A WEEK.

"Hello! How are you, Shreya?" Divya spoke over the phone while instructing the servants.

"Divya! It's Sunday today! And I want you all to come to our house for the first time for a dinner" Shreya said.

"But Shre.." Divya tried to say something but of no use! "No buts and ifs! You all are coming and that's it! And besides! It's been so long I have seen my doll! Where is she?" Divya smiled at the motherly love of Shreya.

"She's in her room! Should I pass on the call?" Divya asked to which Shreya said "Are! No no! Let her study" 

"Are! Baby! Get me some pancakes nah please" Vivek came and nuzzled in her neck to which Divya motioned that it was Shreya which made Vivek giggle.

"Good Morning Vivek Ji! I hope you would come soon for the dinner! Accha Divya bye! I have some really very important work relates to a NGO! Hope to see you all, real soon!!" Shreya said and both of them bid adieu to each other.

 Both the ladies informed their family members except the leads and all were really very happy with the idea.

MALHOTRA VILLA.

"Manik! Wake up my baby!" Shreya ruffled his hairs to which he kept his head on her lap and snuggled to her like a baby.

"You have grown up so much ! Still a mumma's boy?" Yes! Manik was always his Mom's ladla while Dev, Mukti and Cabir were closer to Raj but never mind! Both the parents loved the three equally.

"I will always be your boy! And you know that right?" He said with closed eyes and a smile.

"Toh! So, will your wife not have a problem with this?" Shreya knew Nandini wasn't like this. Bit she loved teasing everyone.

"Urm! I don't think Nandini will have a problem" He smiled and again dozed off to sleep which made her smile.

"Beta! Wake up nah please! It's 12! And besides! Today I have invited Murthys for a dinner" She announced which made Manik smile. A deep and noticeable smile.

"Shreya! Shreya!" Raj called from downstairs to which she kissed his forehead and went downstairs.

He was about to doze off again when a call disturbed him. He didn't see the name owing to his sleepy eyes and started speaking "Aman!! I have told you so many times that Sundays are a no no for work! Ple-" He was about to speak further when a voice, a beautiful voice of a woman woke him up "I am glad that Mr. Malhotra doesn't work on Sundays" It was Nandini. The girl he was slowly falling for and she was worth it. Such a gem she is.

"Are! Woh actually! I am sorry! I was very tir.." He was about to speak further when he was interrupted by his fated queen "Manik! I know you are very tired! And you should sleep actually!" She said understanding his situation.

"Nooo! I mean! I am not sleepy now" He ran to the washroom to brush and freshen up, Still talking to her.

"By the way! Nandini! I feel so lucky you know" He said over the phone as he wore his shirt.

"Why so?" He smiled at his soon to be wife.

"I feel lucky because I am not going to get a nagging wife! I am glad that you would let me sleep till 12 on Sundays too" He said, happiness in his voice.

"And I feel lucky to get you Manik" She blushed at his reason and even reasoned out.

"And I to get you" Manik smiled and both of them settled on their respective beds inhaling the beautiful silence of comfort.

"Dont mind! But I am literally falling for you" He ruffled his hairs while she bit her lower lip to control her blush.

And they kept talking, fated to be one.
