Judging from Maria's reaction, she must have figured that I was neither the anonymous email sender, nor did I know anything about it at all. Although that was my initial reaction, it was possible that I was actually related to the email sender, and if it was Andrei, then those couple of seconds where I appeared confused were important to throw her suspicions off of me.
