A Deal with the Devil

CHAPTER 2

"By the way, Narine. My Tita isn't home. You can stay there for a while since your apartment is still not ready." Napalingon ako kay Lexie nang sabihin niya iyon. Ngumiti ako sa kaniya at tumango.

"Where is she?" I asked curiously. She takes a looked at me before turning back into the road. She sighed problematicly.

"I don't know, she just said that she'll be away for a month. Hindi naman kami close no'n," nakabusangot na wika nito sa akin. Napatawa na lang ako nang mahina dahil sa mukha nito. So cute.

"Ilang araw na siyang wala?"

"Mga tatlong araw na. So you can stay longer in the house," she mumbled smiling. Napangiti na lang ako at masayang tumango-tango.

"Thank you for always helping me," I said sincerely. Masaya ako kasi may kaibigan akong kagaya ni Lexie. She smiled at me.

"Ano ka ba Narine. Alam mo namang naiiyak ako pag ganiyan ka." Malakas na natawa ako dahil sa sinabi nito.

"Why don't you cry then?" I asked playfully. She pouted and then glared at me. I laughed loudly.

"You're really a bully! Stop teasing me," she replied with her lips pouting. Napataas ang aking kilay at hindi makapaniwalang tumingin sa kaniya.

"I'm not. Ikaw lang ang nag-isip niyan Lexie," nakangisi kong wika. Tumingin ito sa akin saglit at balik ulit sa kalsada.

"Amp, bully ka naman talaga eh. Binubully mo ako. You always tease me when you have the chance." My eyes widened because of her words.

"Am I?" I asked, surprised. She nodded her head. I giggled softly.

"Seriously, you're lying to me," I uttered, laughing my ass off. Her eyes narrowed at me.

"Nako, batukan kita diyan eh," nakabusangot na sabi niya. Humagalpak ako sa tawa.Ha, talking like this to a friend will never be boring.

After four hours of driving, we finally arrived at the city of Leonel. It is the richest city in the whole country. This city is the home of many rich businessmen and Alexander is also living here. Dito kami nakatira noon pero lahat na ng ari-arian namin dito ay wala na.

"Let's eat here, I'm hungry," Lexie said before leaving the car. Mabilis kong binuksan ang pinto ng kotse at lumabas na rin.

Sumalubong sa amin ang isa sa pinakasikat na restaurant sa buong bansa. I looked at Lexie with a blank stare.

"What?" she asked, confused. I sighed.

"You know? I'm broke," I said blankly. She blink her eyes and then laughed. I sighed again and massage my aching temple.

Before coming here, I'm a kinder garten teacher. I didn't get to finish nor even study my dream career. That's why I became a teacher. The salary isn't that big but it's already enough for me.

Noong kila Manang pa ako nakatira ay hindi niya ako hinayaan na gumastos sa loob ng bahay. I tried giving her money but she didn't accept it. Napapabuntong hininga na lang ako kapag naalala ang mga nagbabaga niyang mga mata kapag sinusubukan kong bigyan ang kaniyang anak ng pera.

That's why I saved all my money, but then I found these very unique items I found on an online selling platform, all my savings were gone because of it.

Napabuntong hininga na lang ako. Bakit ba naman kasi ako nagpaakit sa mga gamit na iyon. Jusko naman. Iyan tuloy ako ang naghihirap ngayon.

"Don't worry Narine my friend. Sagot ko na ito," nakangisi niyang ani. I looked at her dumbfounded.

"What the, you seriously sounds like a joker right now," I said seriously. Her smile faded and looked at me blankly. I chuckled silently at her face. Dang, that was hilarious.

"Ang saya mo naman. Sana all," she said sarcastically. I smiled and gave her a smack on the cheek.

"Just kidding!" I said smiling brightly. She sighed and we began walking towards the resto.

Nang makapasok na kami ay sumalubong sa amin ang magandang design ng restaurant. I gasped in awe but then realized that I've been here multiple times when I was still studying.

There are a lot of people inside. Mostly businessmen and artist. Humanap na kami nang mauupuan ni Lexie. Nang makahanap na kami ng mauupuan ay mabilis akong umupo at tiningnan ang aking cellphone nang bigla nalang itong nag-vibrate.

"Narine, Iha. Maayus ba kayong nakarating diyan? Mag-iingat ka palagi."

Napangiti na lang ako sa text ni Manang at sinimulang replayan ito. After that I put my phone down and looked at Lexie who's staring at me seriously. Tumaas ang aking kilay.

"What?" I asked frowning at her action. She looked behind me and then to me.

"You're really pretty," she said in a very serious tone. I became speechless and looked at her blankly. Her eyes were shining while looking at me. I suddenly felt scared all of a sudden.

"What the. I'm always pretty, don't tell me ngayon mo lang nalaman?" nakataas kilay kong tanong dito. She sighed and then pointed something behind my back using her pouting lips. Ngumiwi ako .

"Jusko naman Lexie," I said sighing and looked behind my back. And there welcomed me two boys who has been staring at me.

The two were talking while taking a glance at me. The two flinched when they realized that I were looking at them. Ngumiti ako sa dalawa. Napaigtad ang sila at namula. My smile widened as I immediately turned around.

Sumalubong sa akin ang nakangusong si Lexie. I chuckled.

"What?" I asked chuckling.

"Stop flirting," she said. I chuckled even more.

"Why? You're jealous?" I asked teasingly. She pouted even more.

"Kekeke. Iyan nag jowa pa kasi," pang-aasar ko sa kaniya. Mas sinamaan niya ako ng tingin.

"By the way, where's your boyfriend now?" I asked.

"He's outside the country," maagap na sabi nito. Napatango-tango ako.

"How long were you dating Ivan? 4 years?" I asked again. She shook her head.

"Nope, it's 5 years already. Ha, I miss that big baby already," she said

sighing. Napangiwi ako sa call sign ng dalawa. Ivan is our classmate when we're highschool student.

"Sana all may baby," malakas na sabi ko sa kaniya. She smirk at me.

"Iyan, wala kasing jowa," nang-aasar na sabi nito. Inirapan ko siya nang wala na akong masabi. I heard her chuckle.

"Bakit kasi hindi ka mag jowa? I heard from Manang that you have a lot of suitors," she said wondering. I sighed.

"Ha, wala akong tipo sa mga 'yon," I said sighing. Tumaas ang kaniyang kilay.

"Bakit naman? Ang g-gwapo daw ng mga 'yon sabi sakin ni Ally," nakataas kilay na tanong niya. Nagkibit balikat na lang ako.

"Basta, hindi ko tipo."

"Ano ba ang tipo mo?" I looked at her.

"Someone who can make my p***y throbbed just by our first meeting," I said seriously. Her eyes widened because of my words.

"What the, Narine you seriously! Ha..." I chuckled because of Lexie's reaction. She sighed and slightly massage her temple. Matanda naba ang babaeng ito? Wala namang masama sa sinabi ko ah.

"You don't know? The guy is perfect match for you if he can make your p***y throbbed in your first meeting," walang hiyang sabi ko sa kaniya. Mas lalong nanlaki ang kan'yang mga mata.

"A-and where did you learned about that?" she asked again. I smiled cheekily.

"Secret. But it's really true. Proven and tested, don't tell me yours didn't throbbed after meeting Ivan?" I asked seriously. Her eyes widened and her cheeks started to get red.

"W-what t-the h-hell, Narine! How would I know? I was young when I met him!" she hissed pagkatapos ay umiwas ng tingin sa akin. Nanliit ang aking mga mata habang pinagmamasdan ang kaibigan. Her face were all red from the buttom of her neck from the tip of her ear.

Hmm, should I tease her a bit?

"Just by looking at your reaction, I bet he make your p***y throbbed too at first sight," parang wala lang sa akin na saad ko.

Her eyes widened even more and she glared at me. Her face is so red, wow.

"Ang pula ng iyong mukha, kay pula ng isang mansanas," pakanta kong pang-iinis sa kaniya. Mas lalong sumama ang kaniyang tingin sa akin.

"Really, Narine! Stop it, it's embarrassing." I chuckled and decided to stopped.

"So? He really did?" I asked again. Curious. Nag-iwas ulit ito ng tingin bago dahan-dahang tumango.

"Y-yes," she said shyly. Nanlaki ang aking mga mata.

"How does it feel?" I asked curious like a little kid. Even though I'm 25, I'm still a virgin you know? I'm sure Lexie isn't a virgin anymore.

Ivan seem like the playboy type. Sure ako na natuhog na nito ang aking magandang kaibigan.

"W-why would I tell you?" nahihiyang ani niya. Tumawa lang ako at tumayo. She looked at me questioningly.

"I'll just go to the restroom," pagpapa-alam ko sa kan'ya. She nodded her head quitely. I smiled and walk towards where the rest room is.

The food isn't serve yet. Marami rin kasi ang inorder ni Lexie, jusme mariya. Ang liit na babae pero ang lakas kumain, sana all mabilis metabolism.

Habang ako ay papalapit sa restroom ay napapatingin sa akin ang ibang matandang lalaki na businessman siguro basi sa kanilang mga suot. Napangiwi na lang ako dahil sa mga tingin na binibigay nila.

Mga hayop na 'to.

Mabilis akong pumunta sa banyo para maiwasan ang malalaswa nilang mga tingin sa aking katawan. I am wearing a mid length skirt and a tank top.

"Ah!"

Napaigik ako nang may biglang bumangga sa akin. I closed my eyes tightly and braced my self for the impact, but instead of falling. A strong set of arms wrapped around my waist.
